Final tonight Smiley

Who does everyone think will win?

Think it's between Shelina/Andrew. 60/40.

Don't think Tom has any chance, even if he does produce a knock out dish in the last round.

Shelina has grown as the competition has gone on and John & Gregg will love this.

Andrew started out  with all the raw talent and potential but is still no further on from his stuff in the earlier rounds.

Tom was pretty lucky to get this far but was (along with Jay and Aki?) the best of a pretty poor bunch this year.

I want them to bring back some more of the original tests such as the skills test, palette test, etc. But mix it up a bit so each ep isn't the same as each other. I miss some of the truly terrible dishes that used to be presented that were laugh out loud funny.

I don't mind the 20 contestants and lower them to the winner format. But maybe a month worth of heats to get the 20.

Skills test is for the pro's series only I think. It's very formulaic but still absolute quality.

Wish they'd give it a rest with the 'sweet, sweet' nonsense. Earthy truffle, acidic lime, etc. Need more Roo Joo also. And Monica. She don't take no shiz off of no-one.

This year's Masterchef has been crap. As it was said earlier, best of a bad bunch.

Bear in mind I haven't seen Wednesday's episode yet - my money is on Shelina. Andrew is the most annoying person I have seen on these shows and Tom is good enough to work in a kitchen, but no Masterchef.

Anyone who watches Masterchef should really download Masterchef Australia - SO much better it's unreal.

Tom shouldn't be in the final.

I find this one of the weirdest programmes on telly. Not the cooking competition part - that is what it is. It's the two weird presenters. There is a Harry Hill lookalike and a guy off a DIY programme who looks like he hasn't had a bath or washed his hair for a week and who sweats his way through the show, hardly surprising when he is wearing street clothes in a kitchen. I used to find it tolerable when Loyd Grossman did it, but now I just can't take it seriously.
