fml......i play quizes like i play poker. getting there with an awesome ability to pass

wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii me too was sweating there for a while, that's my 2nd near miss think I'll have a break. I say that about poker too, it never lasts though.

good fun quiz and vwp Nirvana
omg just realised i have to set this quiz next week. i dont know anything about spreadsheets and can say that i will have loads of sheets of paper spread in front of me on reveal night and 1 finger typing the reveal. i am a fan of the sheep quiz because the results cant be argued but am happy to do an rsq.

any suggestions or requests can be posted on here and i will wait 48 hours before i go ahead.

i would have offered Glen the chance if he wants.

are we having the bonus reveal Guy

No suggestions or requests required.

RSQ. 12 questions. Same rules as used here. Reveal next Tuesday. Up by the end of tomorrow at the latest.

Objection. I said grey goose l'orange

you got whaled

What does that mean? This is only my second rsq

If answers are close or not distinctly different they get grouped together

Farce... If I go to a bar and order grey goose and you order grey goose l'orange you have a lovely drink I have a shite one.

Total joke. I hope your pleased with this shallow victory herbert

only in collating the scores - you still have to do alot of pre spradsheet leg work - but there is a martix where you put in the scores and it auto toals for each round for you - saves alot of time

I'm not satisfied with the response. Where do I lodge my appeal?

As with all good quizzes we start with the easy one that everyone can get!
Question 1
1.   Name a material used in commercial construction (this must be a complete/finished material, so for example sand would not be accepted as it is a component of something else)

Correct answers include

Wood
PVC
Cement
Paint
Plasterboard
Copper
Granite
Suspended Floor Tiles
Aluminium
Perspex
Brick
Concrete
Zinc
Terracotta

Any objections?

OBJECTION

How is "cement" a complete/finished material?

You guote sand as a "component" (correctly), cement is also a component! (In both cases, components of concrete).

Result null & void, imo.

In the cold light of day I'm starting to think I may have been set up here. Don't know how I've won this with a wrong answer and so many sheep scores.

Looks like I am doing an RSQ and will get the questions up in the next 24 hours and open to suggestions/ requests for 12 hours.

I hope that there are not too many farces leading upto the reveal but may have a cunning plan. It may deviate from current practise but it's the only way I can see round the situation Smiley

However I also have an idea that will make the quiz worth playing too. Gl to all
