I just tried to punt £20 on a horse being offered @ 5/1 with Hills and they offered to lay me £2.

I just withdrew my remaining balance.

So far in the last few months that is Hills, Boyles, VC, Sky, Tote, and PP where I am severely restricted or shut down.

Thinly veiled "I can get a bet on with Coral" brag imo.

i always thought that the pros would use betfair most of the time because you would get a discount on the commision and the odds would seem better on there

Corals are a bit of a waste of time actually as on the rare occasions that I do try and get on with them I get the old "sending to trader" message which seems to take about two minutes until there's a decision. Presently it's about even money if I get on or not judging by my last couple of attempts but if they do knock me back I will have probably missed all the prices elsewhere during the long delay which is why I hardly ever bother with them.

I don't even recall off the top of my head who I backed it with first time round. Mere will know though. He audits everything for me on a spreadsheet.

Probably PP as I think they were going 7/1 when the bet was first mooted by Keith.

Edit: I just checked and I actually got 17/2.

Betfair is quite rarely value versus books as Betfair is a lot lot sharper.

The prob then Iron is paying 4% commision and then 20% premium charge.

Fuck me, I've just received the "have a nice life" e-mail from Stan James.

This is an account that I've been doing my bollox on until I had a nifty ew an 11/2 winner on Saturday which returned 9/4. Still losing a few hundred overall.

I did actually fear the worst but they took my bet this lunchtime.

I'm starting to run out of pesky bookies.
