Any handymen / construction types want to give me a bit of advice?
I'm doing my kitchen and have had to strip back to the bare brick.
The previous plug sockets were in terrible shape and were mounted on top of plaster.
I want to move the plug points down as they're stupidly high and there's cupboards to go up.
What housings do I use? I'd rather avoid cutting into brick, but do I attach housing to brick and cut through plaster board when it goes up, or feed wires through plasterboard and mount housing on top?
Having the new sockets flush with the wall will look better, but I'm worried that if I attach housing direct to the brick it'll protrude past the plaster.
Plan is to get the sockets in the right place, then dot and dab some plasterboard up Friday.
Then win APAT Sat / Sun and pay someone to come and finish the Job

Any suggestions / advice from anyone who know's what they're doing?
