i suspect £25 is alot for the casual person who knows nish about horses..me included..

If you have any ideas for other competitions and recommended buy-ins, I'm happy to run anything that enough people are interested in.

I'd guess that it factored into the thinking.
People who pick a good priced winner shouldn't have to worry about it.
Also, other people will be able to devise their Saturday strategy to combat it.
