Jeff Kimber up to 41,000. 9-9 hits a set in the big blind to an aggro button raiser, paid off

'hits a sets and gets paid off' doesn't quite do the hand justice.

At 150/300 hijack opens to 750, I make it 1600 on the button, Jeff makes it 4100 in the BB, hijack folds, I cram 15,500, Jeff tanks and eventually calls my shove.

I have QQ, he has 99, he gets there on the turn, gg me
Loving the thread today. We are getting both side of the story which does not usually happen. Just shows how popular tighty has made these updates from Dtd. Stirling effort tighty.

Tim Blake not a happy bunny on his exit

"I'd re-raised him and shown Aces, then done it and Shown Queens. So I have A-Q on a Q high board. Spade flush on the turn, Ace on the river. I know I played it bad but he had 7-5 spades. Then he begins typing into facebook how he'd won. I told him just to type ****"

"I don't know why I played this comp, its 3 bet this, 4 bet that, 5 bet jam. Don't know why I bothered"

The ****, by the way, was Todd Swain, now on 25,000

I've just got up got a text off tim ,I replied " one day you will be as good as me " ,he ain't replied yet ? !

Andrew Teng, watched over by the ubiquitous Coren image, which I am  convinced will haunt my dreams for weeks

I'm sure Stars will let you keep it after Rich.
