A warm Blonde welcome to Heswall, who is in fact my very good friend Emma.

She thinks she is rubbish at poker, but she has a brain and she has made 30 bucks into 300 in 60 hours playing 25/50 PL HE on Pokerroom.

She has a sharper tongue than me, dislikes glittery stuff, and is scared of polystyrene.

All criteria met - she'll fit in Smiley

Many thanks for the warm welcome Heid!

As for thinking I am rubbish at poker.... I do have a few things which indicate that I may well be right:

1.  Clubs and Spades.  Right. I can never remember which is which. Let's face it, neither name represents the shape. My campaign to name them 'Clovers' and 'Bellends' isn't taking off mind you so I may have to try and remember a little harder.

2.  Attention span. In short, I'm lacking one. I could be sitting at the computer merrily singing the mouse song from Bagpuss ("We will find it, we will fix it, we will stick it with glue") when my other half screams that I've just folded a full house for no apparent reason......there was of course a reason, I was too busy singing songs from Bagpuss to realise I even had a full house.

3.  Fluctuating between being too timid and being too agressive. At times I'm apparently so timid that, to coin a phrase my other half (known as Lee or 'oi you') says "at times Long John Silver would limp less than you". At other times I'm too agressive and will reraise at inopportune moments which often have absolutely no bearing on what hand I have....like when I suddenly decide that I don't like the nickname of the person who raised.

In short I have a few gaping holes in my game *grin*

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.
