Really should have looked into this before now.

Cheapest half decent hotel £75, train fare £70 and would HAVE to leave on last train on the Sunday at 7.20pm :/

Was hoping to make it as a birthday treat but its looking unlikely now Sad
Thats silly for a train, do you still live in Bristol? Well I could drive past Bristol on the way up, it's not the way I would normally go but it would not really make a difference to me. When were you thinking of going up and coming back?

Trains are redic expensive these days unless you book 3 months in advance :/

Thanks for the offer Rod but I wouldn't want to put anyone out of their way. I have to be home for the Monday morning and would just fret if i didnt have a definate plan to get home.

I will play the freezeout tomorrow (would be rude not to since I asked for it) and see what happens.

Tighty has offered me a share so its now a maybe Smiley

Wrong, the last bash had 85 runners

I am disappointed though, expected much more interest in this one, and the satellites, given DTD's generosity especially.

I think if possible it might help if there was more notice given for the next one. A month was ok for me but I can see how it might not quite be enough for some. If say it was announced 6 months prior then that's time for everyone to book hotels/trains at the cheap rates and have the weekend penciled in as "busy" rather than "i'll see if it's free".

The nut solution would be for Rob to evict his lodger from the house the blow ins used to stop in on festival weekends. Imagine all of us lot under one roof. Would make for an interesting evening especially given all the bickering going on ATM. Smiley
