We are off and running.

Event #1: Casino Employees No-Limit Hold'em.
This had a field of 732 and has already reached the money.
I'm pretty sure that no-one has a runner in this event but I could be wrong - I wouldn't have expected Karina Jett to be in the field.

She's the casino host for some tournaments at MGM grand, so I guess she's technically an employee.  She gets some of her 'crowd' to play sOme of them.

I learned this on my trip there last month when I played the $200 HORSE tournament and was surprised to be in a field with Chip & Karina Jett, Gavin Smith, Layne Flack, Bryan Micon, etc

I've lost mine now and it's just a case of how much by I think. I'm going to see out the next 3 weeks to see how close I can get anyway.
