having looked at the leaderboard i think it should be made clear what the booby prize will be for last place...i know you most probably deliberately didn't mention it at the start of the competition in case you offended anyone but its ok to mention it now.

That's a very good point but you've got some very stiff competition. tikay has a lot of experience in these things because he's been coming last in competitions for many decades.

Keeps a low profile, pretty sure he hasn't played any events yet though.

Whereabouts unknown.

milligan84 has him as a wildcard so I guess he has more faith than some of us.

I don't want to whip you up into too much of a frenzy but here are the chip stacks for the final table for event 5:

Bryan Pellegrino       790,000
Jonathan Aguiar       552,000
Keanu Tabali       309,000
Nick Jivkov       281,000
Tommy Vedes       247,000
Daniel Negreanu    212,000
Brant Hale       211,000
John Eames       181,000
Mike Allis       86,000

The three highlighted players are all selected players.
They're guaranteed 3 points but 5 points are up for grabs.

The only difference between praying in a Church and praying at the poker table is that when you pray at the poker table you really mean it.

Confirmed.
JP Kelly in for Matt Perrins.
Any points accrued by either player for events 1 to 8 are void.
You have one substitution left.

Event 7: $1,500 Seven Card Stud
Status: Started
Field: 367
Paid: 40
Remaining: 120

Selected players remaining:

Jonathan Duhamel    16,000

Jeff Lisandro       3,500

Get!

Almost nailed on, I would think.

Jeff Lisandro has the word "busted" next to his name. It may be kid's slang for 50,000 but I suspect not.

It all seems very exciting now.
Jonathan is about 60th of 70 remaining with 40 paid.
tikay might be about to put his first point on the board - or not.
