There have been several enquiries relating to the DTD qualifiers for the main event.

The list of qualifiers was initially posted here:

There has been some speculation as to which of these players will actually play in the Main Event.
At the moment, we do not know for sure who is playing.

Therefore, for anyone who has picked a DTD Qualifier that does not actually play the Main Event (and for people who have not selected a player) I will pick a DTD Qualifier (that is actually playing) at random at the start of the event.

Update.

It is quite possible that we won't know which DTD Qualifiers are actually playing until we have the entry lists for all three day 1's. Therefore I won't be able to assign a random player until day 1c has started.
In order to ensure fair play, I have assigned a random number to each team manager and sent a copy of this list to an independent person.
When we have the full list of DTD Qualifiers who have entered, I will use this random number to assign a player to every team that has not already got a valid player.
People who have already selected a player may change him up until 8pm tomorrow (Saturday). However, no-one will lose out due to picking a player that does not actually play.
