John did NOT hide any chips, they were at the bottom of his purple stack in front of the rest, it wasnt even close to being out of order.

Andrew Hulme opens to 20,000

Gordon Woodings calls

Eirmas Livonas calls in the big blind

checked round

Livonas check calls 40,000

river

Livonas checks

Hulme fires 120,000

Livonas thinks and thinks and eventually calls to be shown  for the rivered nuts

Livonas down to 300,000 and the trend reported on the thread of Hulme taking the volatile Lithuanian to valuetown continues in abundance

Hulme out to 800,000 and vying for the chip lead

As Iv wrote in stable chat, Im sure John did nothing harmful.

Its easy for somebody to be clearly displaying chips and you not notice. Yesterday I 4b jammed on a guy who snapped me off and was surprised when I had 100k more than he thought. Thats 20 chips, all on show, nevermind 3.

Wouldnt be surprised if the "I know you didnt" was just a harmless passing comment. John probably knew Ali wasnt aware of the 75k when he snapped. I doubt very much that he was angling. He loves the game too much!

the 3 25k chips is not nice i agree
Yeah. I can't stand sharp practice like that. It's plain cheating.

Did he actually hide them tho?

They weren't hidden, they were at the front of his stack. Ali just didnt notice (they aren't very clear tbh) and John said he thought he hadnt spotted them. No issue... Ali should have made sure I guess.

Tony Bedford was out 36th for £675, unseen by me

Tuan Le knocked out Andy Lambert in 35th

Le raised A-5, Lambert big blind shoved a micro stack with K-J

The board helped neither 8-2-3-7-Q to send Lambert to the rail

Apologies if the way I wrote it sounded like they were at the back behind his big ones, confirmed at the front under the purples
difficult to spot, I often have difficulties spotting them if under purples

in which case they shoud be on top of his stack clearly visible

like todd says pretty sure ali had 2 cards and thought "hooray its go time"

but thats not the point.

Second break of the day

31 left

Blinds go 6000-12000 in 20 minutes

Average 355,000

Chip leaders are Asif Raja and Andrew Hulme ahead of John Black and Meli Vincent. All 700,000+

An exciting few hours lie ahead as a posse of blondes and DTD regs fight to reach the final with £60,000+ to the winner and no deals

Id give him benefit of doubt re: 25K chips. In other cardrooms he'd be made to put the highest denom chip on top of his front stack or in a stack of there own e.g Caesar's properties in Vegas.

Good luck if he is just a bit overexcited and not a d-bag..
