I think goturead is one of the very best regs, and very capable of the river bluff.  I guess someone will pipe up with you shouldn't have called the 5 bet, but you have position and it is button, SB, BB and he has moves.  So, looks fine so far.  I think you have to bet, I guess whether we call depends on how much.  Every genuine hand he could have beats us, just think he has a lot of bluffs in his arsenal.

I can't see me doing anything other than calling or folding if I get reraised on the river.

I think checking back the river has to be fine. I mean, you have to be winning a %, but you even occasionally get bluffed here if he is that good, and it sucks to bet thinly and fold, esp if he thinks your capable of not having a house here. In a way, you might feel like you have to bet/call because villain can only shove AK/AJ here, and not KK, so his range is extremely small, but also, like wtf. Its a deep tourney, a 5bet pot vs a good player and we want to bet really really thin.

Up to river seems fine, frisky, but cool.

6b/fold?

dislike vs some1 who will happily 7b bluff

edit - there aren't many people who are capable of such things....goturead happens to be one of them though

Alright fine.  I think pre is good.  I would definitely bet the flop when he checks and bet turns.  Tough spot if he c/r the flop pretty weird line.  As played I would check back the river.  You pretty much always have a showdown bound hand.  QJ you'd fold on the river if he bet, Ax he always expects you to bet and maybe even some Kx.  There isn't a ton of value in you betting and it's far more likely he check raises the river and you get put in a coffin. It's a bit of a guessing game if that happens but there's a decent amount of combos he can have for value so we'd hate life and have to end up folding.

What would Dolly make of all this.....

such a short time ago a 3bt meant AA and KK.... now we're looking to 6bt/8bt call an A and a T.

Really dont like 4b/call 200bb deep vs a good opponent.
EDIT: thought it was SB vs BTN; BvB is fine then.

as played, even if i agree with

i think villains way more likely to bet hands that beat us than check them OTR. he could 5b Ax pre and play this way. also, not betting because we're afraid of being c/r is not a good reason.
if hes that good i'd bet 12k ish/call  as we're close to the top of our range. i like flop check btw.
