So today I find a load of money (£500) dribbling out of my bank account over the last few days. All to paypal.
I phone bank who tell me phone PP and if they dont help they will reclaim.
I contact paypal and it transpires that they have tried to change access questions etc too.
PP tell me to check the old email account (a YAHOO one) that this is linked to.
I have checked the filters and found these intriguing convos:

Bit late now, but best to use an email account that's more secure than just a simple password. Yahoo (like gmail) has added two-step authentication: http://www.zdnet.com/blog/security/yahoo-mail-introduces-two-factor-authentication/9846 and it makes a LOT of sense to do this. You can do it for your PayPal account as well (although the text you the number additional layer of security can be bypassed each time and instead all you need to do is answer the two security questions).

It's a Sky broadband IP. So if you're in discussions with the police, they can speak to Sky to find out who was allocated that IP address at the specific time the activity was taking place. You can't find that out yourself. Speak to the police and ask to speak to someone involved in online crime - they're usually quite helpful.

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down 'happy'. They told me i didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life. J Lennon

Good luck with that. I gave the police the IP of my stolen laptop on the 1st Feb and they still haven't got the address off Sky yet. Pricks.
