Just booked two gigs I'm really looking forward to

October 12th, Bowling For Soup's Farewell tour at Rock City
October 25th, Skid Row (Meh) and Ugly Kid Joe, also at Rock City.

America's Least Wanted by UKJ was one of the albums I played along with most as a young guitarist.
Never got to see them back in the day, so really looking forward to a nostalgic evening with them.

Went to see Springsteen Last night at Wembley.

Probably the best concert I have ever been to.

That's good news, I'm off to see him at Hampden on Tuesday.

Last one I went to was, erm, Springsteen at Hampden. I quite like Springsteen.

Not a concert as such but Dawn & I were lucky enough to be invited to a get together at a friend's house along with Davey Carton, the lead singer of The Saw Doctors. He grew up in the same town as my mate, Tuam, County Galway. We had a great evening singing theirs and others songs along with some great story-telling too. Top fella.

Whigfield > Gala > Gina G > Jinny

Jinny were an Italian House outfit in the early 90s.  Keep Warm was and still is a top track.  I think Feel The Rhythm was the other I recall.

How you can put them in the category with Whigfield and Gina G shows how little you understand who they were.  Gala was clearly a maker of football boot, so again unfair to compare them here as I don't recall Jinny being in sportswear at all.

It therefore must go Jinny>Whigfield>Gina G  with Gala somewhere behind Puma.

Lyndsey said she was taking me out somewhere last night as a surprise.

Ended up in Shrewsbury at a Levellers gig.  Was fantastic.  It was at the Buttermarket (for those who know it) and it's quite a small venue, which I always like. We got a good spot near the front and had a good mosh.  Dripping wet with sweat at the end, which is always the sign of a good gig in my book Cheesy

Will be seeing them again in a fortnight at the Beautiful Days festival, but was great to see them last night.  I'm a lucky chap!

I've an image of the mosh pit at a levellers gig being really dangerous with people getting their eyes poked out by all the air fiddling Cheesy
