Fellas, the nba summer league is on in Vegas, think its the last lot of games today. The two guys I like for rookie of the year both playing, along with lots of future stars. Why not continue your sports day with a bit if scouting there

Morale alot higher now, after a meal with Trigg, claypole, Jake and his gf Alex.

Then drinks at the Town Centre where we we joined by various reprobates, Demps, Toby Lewis, Pez, Mitchell, Pablo, David Gent (who I hadn't met before but seems like a deece chap) and his Mrs.

Dinner tonight with Vicky Coren and David Mitchell. Note to self - don't drink before this - you'll make yourself look stupid.

Drank enough last night for the whole trip anyways. Sore head ensued all day today. But a very good time and avoided going to the Rhino which I wouldn't have managed 5 years ago. Maybe I'm finally growing up!

Might play Caesar's main event tomorrow!

The beer at the 51s generally is terrible.  However, if you take a stroll upstairs to the top deck (think it's called 3rd base bar) you'll find no queues and some really good beers that they don't serve downstairs.

Baseball with Tikay last night.

Really enjoyable evening. Will post a couple of pics when I get home.

Highlight was sitting behind a pissed up trash talker and his wife in seats directly behind home plate

He shouted abuse at every Tucson player.

One in particularly got both barrels to a young guy with a very moderate recent record who happened to have brand new and very cleans shoes.

"Hey Sams. You suck. You are absolutely terrible. I've never seen anyone with a worse batting average than you. I love your shoes though. They are sweeeeeeet. Are they Nike? I think they are.  They are new line the Nike Benchwarmer."

As the last line of abuse rang in the batters ear he launched a pitch way out of the stadium for a very long home run.

Classic stuff.
