From WSOP site,

No Stutter for Rutter

Stuart Rutter is off to a flier after he eliminated Nick Brancato.

There was an under-the-gun open that Rutter three-bet to 3,600 from the hijack. Brancato was in the cut-0ff and shoved for around 19,000. The original raiser folded and Rutter tank-called.

Both players stood pat and their hands were opened.

Rutter: 96543
Brancato: 97432  for a ninety-seven smooth that still lost.

Stuart Rutter   40,000   13,425
Nick Brancato   0

WSOP updates,

6/16/2012 4:01:25 PM PST (about 9 minutes ago)

Break Time

We are on a 20-minute break and still two spots off the money.

6/16/2012 4:00:23 PM PST (about 10 minutes ago)

Soft Bubble For Turner

We are still two spots away from the money, but busting out right now sure feels like bubbling the event. Jon Turner just moved all in for right around 11,000 chips from the cutoff and Stuart Rutter made the call from the small blind.

Rutter immediately drew one cards after which Turner went into the tank. All the players that stood and sat behind him could see he was holding Q10 953 as he picked his cards up from the table. Turner kept tapping the  Q and eventually he made up his mind not to break his hand.

Rutter turned over7642and was drawing very live to bust his opponent. Rutter drew the 3 and knocked Turner out. We are down to 37 players.

Stuart Rutter   63,500   23,500
Jon Turner   0   -25,450

Stuart Rutter has taken care of a player at his table. Play is now hand for hand until we lose one more player.

Rutter raise-called an all-in shove, and stood pat with . 89532
His opponent drew one with  but was handed a  and was eliminated.

Stuart Rutter

Bubble burst straight after. Stu up with leaders, gl !

Finished 10th in the triple draw, for $5995. (calling it 6k for the purposes of the stake)

Full update tomorrow (as there is a lot!), but basicaly felt it went really well, and ran out of luck from 14 players left. My exit hand saw Mizrachi raise  the button to 5k, I shipped my 29k with 97654 pat, and he called with 9653, drawing to just a 2,4 or 7, and he peeled a 2.

Will write the full update later, as feeling exhausted, really gutted to come close in this one, although it was overall alot of fun. And I need to sort payouts, for this and the HORSE.

**10k HORSE. Unfortunately didn't make registration, and ultimately missed it by 7 minutes (the time it took me to bust the 2-7 after the dinner break), which is a real shame. Very sorry to miss it, especially to package 2ers, but it felt right to play the 2-7 the day before, as it would need me to finish in the top 9 or 10 to miss the HORSE. And that is exactly what happenend, unfortuantely in the worst possible way of that scenario finishing 10th! So, snap refunding obviously, please send Stars name, bank deets, or Moneybookers, and I'll send it over.**

So, to recap, current 1% values of:

package 1- $6,250 triple draw cash, $6k 2-7 lowball cash, and half of HORSE refund (as it was "half action")= $17,750/100 = $177.50
package 2- HORSE refund = $10,750/100= $107.50

Well played Stu, mbn to get those pat hands...  Against Moanetti, do you not have to factor in that some of the time he will be rougher than you imagined, trying to get you to break?

Also, figured you'd just reg the HORSE and miss a few blinds, but whatever you wanted to do is your call.

Well done so far, keep it up =)

Will try and meet you in Vegas to sort out $$

Simon, yes I definitely did consider the possiblity of regging the HORSE, as it realistically was a reasonable chance that I would only miss 6/7 minutes, but I decided it was very much impossible, as there was also a good chance that I would double up and stay around for long enough that I would cause real damage to my stack in the HORSE.

Look forward to meeting you in Vegas glgl

^^ most definitely do not make any transfers from Vegas on stars. Further, as you are publicly known to be in Vegas, don't have anyone at home admin your account. Stars don't muck about with this stuff...

QFT - I no longer have a Stars account because of a similar error and presumably it would be more of a issue for you.

Logging into Stars from the US is fine Stu, you just get a popup saying not to try and play real money games or do transfers but for checking balances/transfer history its fine.
