The only difference between praying in a Church and praying at the poker table is that when you pray at the poker table you really mean it.

So we finished up 26 players short which means there was a £13,000 overlay. 221 entries today; 175 entrants and 46 re-entries.

Adam Palethorpe just eliminated Mark Elliott with A-K vs Elliott's A-2 all in preflop. There were chop outs for mark after the 3-7-3 flop but no good on the T turn and 4 river.

Liam Batey has made swift exit from the table and ultimately the tournament but not before sliding his chips across the felt to Alex Zeligman after his A Q was no good on a Q high board!

Liams hopes of winning were shattered when Alex turned over K's

A lot. Not entirely sure how much as I was slightly distracted at the time, but we have 12 minutes left so I'll wait for the official counts.

Chipleader, and newbie blonde, AndySymeou with 475k (ish) after KO'ing Abhishek Khaitan with 3-3 on a K-3-2hh board. Khaitan had QJhh which improved on the 10c turn but no good with the 7x river!

Bedi out, and it was sick.

Andy opened and Maurice Nicholson called before George shipped 25bb with Q-10. Andy then made it 100k with 9-9 and Maurice called all in.

The flop was Q high but the turn was a K and the river a brick...Maurice had K-6 to scoop!
