Hate Maurice's call there but I would've lost to the queen anyway. Finished up 439k.

 See you tomorrow folks

Also confirmed is that Alex Goulder runs golden.

He just eliminated David Amos with 7-7 against Amos' T-T...the hard way, the board running out with 4 hearts and Goulder holding the !

Sorry about that, felt a bit dirty, but we had a 3betting dynamic believe it or not and I felt it was too strong to fold.

It happens - it was fun till then though. had  thie first time we tangled, flop had a 3 and I think I was 'bluffing with the best hand'?
Others were stronger, sometimes.
Since Bedi's out I guess I better funk for you, not that you need it.

Joobs and I are off to sleep as we have been up since 7am yesterday morning!

The 2 fields will be combined for Day 2 tomorrow, which is a 1.30pm start.

Join us then as we play down to the final table (we think!)

Night!

What does everybody think the rule is here:

Guy opens to 1100 at 250/500, I throw in 2 1k chips silently in the next seat. Is it a call or a raise?

By the book its a raise but it usually goes as a call 'cos nobody knows you're allowed to raise to <2.2k

i reckon this is a call by the book. only goes as a raise if you throw in chips of differing denominations, or more than the amount of chips of 1 given denomination than is the minimum to match the inital bet

Bedi out, and it was sick.

Andy opened and Maurice Nicholson called before George shipped 25bb with Q-10. Andy then made it 100k with 9-9 and Maurice called all in.

The flop was Q high but the turn was a K and the river a brick...Maurice had K-6 to scoop!

The only difference between praying in a Church and praying at the poker table is that when you pray at the poker table you really mean it.
