Venue: Rileys

 9-handed Cash Game

Big blind is seat 3. Player in the 6 seat announces blind raise and puts in 25quid chip. Dealer announces '25 straddle' and deals. Before any action, the small blind asks where the action is going to start. The dealer announces that it will start on the 4 seat. Small blind tries to clarify what the rule is in this situation and the dealer says he can't answer until after the hand is over.

Is this correct?

I don't think anyone should answer this until the thread is over.

Are Mississippi straddles allowed in that game? Also what are the actual blinds to have a straddle of £25? Or is this a level?

PMSL, so after the hand what did the dealer clarify?

Was it that he was a knob, and allowed a bet out of turn by calling it a straddle of £25 on a 25p/50p game?
