No good at the Aria. Finished 32nd from 100. Feel like I'm playing well but just can't find any spots.

Just finished level 4 of the WSOP Ladies event. Got 6450, ave is 5500. 936 started, 510 left. Standard is mixed. My table is pretty tough. Had Cyndi Violet to my right earlier (briefly).

don't care, they just made themselves look stupid. I've suggested they hold a men's only event at the same time as the ladies next year.

Contrary to popular belief I'm not Estonian! Just asked them to change my flag. Need the good old Union Jack next to my name!

Ok so mixed feelings about Saturday. Lasted 40mins of day 2 in the Ladies WSOP. I'd been moved to a new table and watched the v aggressive girl sat 2 to my right 3 bet pre to take down the first 3 hands. Next hand I'm bb and she's obv button. She bets. I look down at JJ and3 bet. She 4 bets and I dwell shove. She snaps with AA. sigh. Finished 99th for $1735 so a small return for Dubai and Claypole who kindly took some of my action in this one.

Went for lovely meal at Postrio in Venetian and then played the $200 at 7pm. Finished 11th for $749. Played well and lost a 60/40 on the ft bubble when I shoved the button with 910s with 15bbs and got looked up by A6 who you'd have thought had just won a gold bracelet from the way he over-celebrated. I think he realised that he had knocked out his biggest threat?!

Just sat down at Venetian $600. Mixed table, but on the immediate left of the 2 best players at the table from what I've gathered so far.

2 cashes in a row Michelle, great stuff.

A little bit of the rub of the green and I am confident you will get a big score.

Decided to play the Wynn $340 on Monday instead of the Venetian $600.  2 reasons. A smaller field and a much weaker field. My main problem therefore was that no-one could fold anything so if yoy didn't get/hit cards there were small pickings. I doubled up in level 2 with QQ vs a guy who open shoved with AJ on a J55 flop. From that point it was downhill all the way. Flopped 2 pair against a guy who just couldn't fold his middle pin draw and got there on the river.  Lost a fair sized pot with 88 on a Q4Q63 board vs 99. Then got it all in with A4s and ran into AK.

Had a day off yesterday (tues) and went to Town Square on the Deuce bus. Great for shopping and has excellent happy hours (at least 4 hours in most cases) at Blue Martini, Double Helix and English's amongst others. If you're looking for bargains at Abercrombie and Fitch and Hollister this is the place to go. All redline (sale) items had an additional 50% off and anything full price had 40% off. So for instance a dress that should have been $80 (£80 in uk) was $24.

Got a cab to the Venetian after having drinks and dinner at Blue Martini and sat at a $1/$2 game with $300. Came off after an hour with $460 and Ian was also $150 up so paid for our shopping!

Playing the Aria $125 right now. Need a smallish field today as I have WSOP event 59 tomorrow at 12 noon.

Back from Vegas, jet lagged and already fed up of the weather at home.  Had a great time in Vegas and very pleased with my 100% record in the WSOP events! (2 cashes out of 2), just a little disappointed I didn't get in the very big money in these tournaments.

Been working out everyone's returns today.  Will be PM'ing everyone shortly to get bank details so I can sort out transfers asap.  Thanks to those who have already provided their details and thanks again to everyone who staked me.

So in terms of returns, let's start with the easy one first, the WSOP Ladies $1k in which I won $1735 for my 99th place:-

Dubai 50% - $867.50 return
Claypole 20% - $347 return

All those involved in the main staking package also had a % in WSOP event 59 $1k in which I won $2703 for my 270th place:-

Mum       2.50%   $67.58
Kav       5.00%   $135.15
Gaz       10.00%   $270.30 (Gaz originally had 5% of me, but bought a further 5% when we were in Vegas)
Glenn         2.50%   $67.58
SirPerceval 2.50%   $67.58
Tonytats    2.50%   $67.58
Skippy       2.50%   $67.58
Claypole    2.50%   $67.58

In terms of the main staking package there are 2 elements to the calculation.  I didn't spend the full $4000 on buy ins so I need to refund the unused funds (including the 1.1 mark up).  I spent $2870 of the $4000 so need to refund $1130 x 1.1 mark up = $1243.  There is also a return of $749 to distribute which was my cash for 11th place in a Venetian $200 event.

                         %     Refund     Return     Total
Mum            5.00%   $62.15   $37.45   $99.60
Kav          10.00%   $124.30   $74.90   $199.20
Gaz          10.00%   $124.30   $74.90   $199.20
Glenn             5.00%   $62.15   $37.45   $99.60
SirPerceval     5.00%   $62.15   $37.45   $99.60
Tonytats         5.00%   $62.15   $37.45   $99.60
Skippy         5.00%   $62.15   $37.45   $99.60
Claypole         5.00%   $62.15   $37.45   $99.60

So total returns for everyone over all events played is as follows:-

        Grand Total
Mum        $167.18
Kav        $334.35
Gaz        $469.50
Glenn         $167.18
SirPerceval $167.18
Tonytats     $167.18
Skippy     $167.18
Claypole     $514.18
Dubai         $867.50

If anyone wants paying in cash in $ please let me know as I have brought quite a lot back that I don't need.  In terms of converting $ back to £ for those who want a bank transfer in £ I used 1.51724 to calculate the cost of your % in £ when you paid me.  This was the exchange rate I got for your £ when I went and bought $ to take with me.  In terms of converting it back, it looks like I will be able to sell the $ at around spot. Yesterday's spot was 1.55 but has fallen slightly today to 1.5483, so I will use this rate to convert back to £.

Thanks
Michelle
