Tbf its not just this tournament because after I exited the deepstack  & incredible in records times I decided to drop down into the xxl 25 where my edge over that field has to be massive   Tongue . Once again the only things xxl were my belly after the very nice mixed grill (you may have notices I had the breakfast sat with you only a couple of hours earlier) and the fact that once again I ended up paying twice the price the competition is marketed at. Smiley

Ah but how much did you win?

do we know when monte carlo info comes out?

http://www.dusktilldawncasinonottingham.com/events/monte-carlo/18936

more will follow. I think the online day 1a will end up at a 24 minute clock/9 handed.

Cheers Rob

Cool 24 online sounds better than 30 live. Probably see you there!

id imagine its not a 30 min live clock and 30k chips as that is less than the deepstack more likely an hour clock live but im just guessing

Just to be clear;

The £500,000 GTE Monte Carlo is a 60 min clock throughout, 9 handed, using the EPT Grand Final €10K Monte Carlo ante/blind structure. 1st prize is expected to be £125,000 +

The Day 1a Online will be dealt 9 handed, 11 levels x 24 minute clock.

The Live Day 1's will start at 12pm and play 11 levels, Day 2 1pm and play 10 levels, Day 2 1pm and play 9 (ish) levels

There is no re-entry on the same day but players who bust out of the Online Day 1a, can play Day 1b live and/or Day 1c live. The number of players that re-enter in previous Monte Carlo is 5%-10%.

The Monte Carlo attract players from all over the UK, but its not often a non DTD regular doesn't bag the 1st prize. Previous Winners include Wadey, Rastafish, Frazer, Julian and Alex.

There will be a load of Monte Carlo information coming out soon. The Monte Carlo is my my second favorite event behind the £50 Grand Prix so we are getting the Grand Prix info out first of course Smiley

Tighty will be updating the event and starting a thread on here soon - so that Nicola can answer player questions on satellites etc. Seems ages since we have done a Monte Carlo, good timing though, a month before the real thing in May where I am hoping to take a few qualifiers this year.

Hi Nicola,

WHat the most likely event to be on the week before the Monte Carlo? I'm going to come to England for 2 weeks and looking for somewhere to play the weekend before the Monte.

Thanks in advance.

The Grand Prix is a month before the Monte Carlo

The current weekend schedule (deepstacks and festivals apart) has a Fri £10k GTE, a Saturday £30k GTE and a £5k GTE on Sundays

Unless there is a third party event in the weekend before, then it'll be something like that
