there are guest house type options sich as Hylands in Beeston for £30 a room night

Premier Inn Nottingham South c£50 a night, 2 miles away

Holiday Inn Castle Marina is the nicest, and half way into town which might be useful, c£80 a night

Yes, it's outside the centre.  Not too far in a cab though, and doesn't cost a lot if there are a few of you.
