Tonight at the club alongside our regular Thursday night comps we are running a £75 Freezeout with a £4,000 GTE!
Should be a good evening running this alongside the beginners and £20. Hopefully see some of the APAT guys that may be in town early.

Like this, would be nice to see maybe one of these a month, really cant justify the petrol/time for a £20 torn mid week.

Thumbs up to the £15 F/O and XXL25 tournys next week, this is the perfect mix of a small buy in tourney for players on a budget (like me) and players who don't mind paying out £56 a pop, but could we get the blinds back to the 1st 3 levels being 30 mins on the XXL like before? Anyone else agree? thanks.

Keep an eye out on your inboxes for this week's DTD News email. Loads of information about upcoming events and even a little competition to where you can win a £20 voucher to spend in the club. We're looking at making these Bi Weekly and will do edited printed copies for players at the club to have a read.
Thanks

Thoughts on DTD Tourney announcements
I just thought I would provide feedback on DTD tourneys announcements. Obviously its great that different things get trialled, and it has led to a great mix of offerings, which has to be better for the community than a fixed roster of events.
However, I think that there are so many ideas being used now, that people are getting confused about what each tourney will have
Examples include:
Rebuy
Re-entry
Stack forfeit
Stack Merge
Amount of field paid
When paid (ie is day 2 auto ITM)
Im sure that there are others
Perhaps when you launch a tourney on post 1 of the thread you just have a definitive statement as to what is and isn't included for each event. An executive summary if you will.

Was at the club last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Had to wait an hour for the XXL to start as it was really busy and started late but nevertheless, it was nice to get out and play for the first time in ages.
One thing that still winds me up is the amount of people who don't wash their hands after going to the toilet FFS. Had to laugh when it got mentioned over the tannoy, so it obviously is not just me that thinks this.
So, DTD, why not install some of those little dispensers around the place with that "Purell" stuff ? Failing that, we could always get the door staff to issue a little "reminder" lol.
Roll on the Grand Prix.

unfortunately there are a lot of dirty b@5tards who do this...then touch the door handle and go and sit down and play with their chips.
Other than putting a bloke in the loo telling them or a big sign saying "wash your hands you dirty @#%$" I don't see how they will change...glad i'm not the only one disgusted by it.

Whatever happened to the MMP (multi prizepool poker) ? I loved it when it was on (mostly because I got to play in the same tourney as Sam Trickett and came runner up) but still. Was this not a success? Seemed to be plenty of runners and gave people with any bankroll to play in a large field?
