Is there a noise problem given its location ?

cheers

being old mate I get annoyed if its noisy when I am sleeping, ( 5 am to midday is the norm) was there a problem with external noise?

Nope, I have a problem with noise too as I'm a light sleeper and I don't recall it being a problem. I'm sure in the unlikely event of you finding a problem they would probably move you down the end of a corridor so u have no passing traffic.

cheers Rotty, Woodsey. If you were going to book for ten days what type of room would you take?

I just got the cheapest one as I'm not bothered about the extra frilly bits offered in superior or whatever the name rooms, it was absolutely fine had no complaints.

yes, nothing wrong with any of the rooms just the noisy aircon in the Carson, again this probably isn't an issue for most folks

I pretty much turn the AC off when I'm sleeping anyway as it fucks with my chest.

if you don't mind the walk, ask for a room far away from the lift and a high floor so away from any street noise.

I've stayed at The Nugget three or four times now Phil each time in the Carson tower.

I always ask for a quiet room and it takes you a bit longer to get there and back but well worth it imo.

The beds are comfy and the showers/bathrooms are first-class, especially so considering the price. I usually go in November when it's $39/$59 or something similar. There's a convenience store 200 yards down Freemont and if you ask nicely at reception they'll give you a 'fridge in the room. I love it there.
