On the first hand back from the unscheduled break, Shaun Deeb raised to 3.24 million and left himself with just one T5,000 chip. Gus Hansen called and the flop came down
. Hansen bet 25,000 and Deeb quickly folded.
Deeb dropped down to just a mere 5,000 in chips while Hansen moved to 7.195 million.

Seems a fun way to lock up $1m knowing they are only letting 1 person in

No Phil Laak, in fact I don't recall seeing him mentioned anywhere this year.

Sounds like collusion to get one of them in, chip dumping imo

Unscheduled Break
Posted 5 hours 30 minutes ago by donpeters • Level 19: 40,000-80,000, 10,000 ante
The remaining two players have taken a short, unscheduled break.
Shaun Deeb
On the first hand back from the unscheduled break, Shaun Deeb raised to 3.24 million and left himself with just one T5,000 chip
Seems it was planned during said break

If neither wanted to play, surely they agree to chop money 50/50 and take 50% of the action, in which case you would want deeb in the tourney
Can only imagine gus wanted to play!

Yeah Deeb said in his interview that neither wanted to play it but that he had convinced Gus to play it...
