Everybody is busto jase. As falcons said if you look at everybody in poker 99% of people will have less money to their name than you'd guess.
I just posted on wsop top players value thread. 2010 was my heater mate. It was interesting that Dubai posted that moorman/pab/flushy needed to win the main to keep the uk poker economy going. If Monda can get a job at macdonalds then at least I still have one out

PS Probably get kb'd.

Do you expect to lose a lot of cash when your cheque is cashed into sterling Marc? I can see this happening and it might be better to warn backers.

I have cashed a cheque from the US before and I remember getting pretty hosed on the rate I was given though it was long ago enough I can't remember the actual rates etc

Pretty sure my bank (Halifax) told me it would take 4 - 6 weeks to clear and it was closer to 6 weeks than 4 weeks unfortunately Sad

To protect future investors Marc should have a tag line on his account that warns people of his previous failures to pay on time.

lol. i have sold action on blonde a million times and no one has ever had an issue getting paid. Thie matter with lewis is different on many levels.

In regards to should have settled after wsop win... i took a cheque from the wsop and im waiting on it to clear, as other people have said, it takes a f long time which i never realised.

Lewis and i havnt actually spoken directly, as he has made it IMPOSSIBLE to contact him, but we have made an arrangement through pleno as a middleman.

Sorry dude this may come across rude as I haven't been to bed yet but you do have a lot of life fail going on.

You had a % swap convo with a guy but can't really be sure what you agreed. You then fob him off in ridic manner and allow your rep to be compromised by forcing him to start this thread. You state you will pay him when you land in UK but now realise you can't because the cheque takes 6 weeks. You took the nut worst pay option in Vegas because you didn't research how to do things properly. And now you say it is IMPOSSIBLE to contact him. I have no clue who this Lewis fella is but would bet you any money you like I would be speaking to him within the hour. Actually I wouldn't bet you without an escrow but you know what I mean.

I would forget about going all-in or whatever for a while and get a grip of basic life skills.

Marc.

lol. i have sold action on blonde a million times and no one has ever had an issue getting paid. Thie matter with lewis is different on many levels.

Stop putting "lol" at the start of posts, it's pretty rude and it makes you look like a dick in spots I know full well (because I know you) that you're not trying to be rude. Needless aggravation to an already terrible situation for you.

It started out differently, yes. Personally I believe you didn't fully think you'd swapped 5%. However since it was universally agreed you owe him the money it's a debt like any other and the fact you are dodging the payments makes it exactly the same. This $100 now, $500 here is really tilting when expecting a lump. Set out a plan to pay it, and stick to it and that REALLY is the end of the matter.

Final point @Lewis, you are being a bit silly by not contacting Marc direct, using Pleno as a middle-man for the initial negotiations was a smart idea, but you need to sort yourself now. Ring Marc up, he owes you $5100 say to him "when, and HOW are you paying" agree on a date/system whatever your happy with and lock this thread up until marc has missed a payment by 25minutes, or shorted you by $11 then open the thread again and shout to the world. Obviously you're busy moving etc but it'll take >20 minutes and it's worth like £3,500 so unless you're busy mining gold it's got to be worth your time. After that you never need to speak to Marc again if you dont wish.

This whole thing is just embarrassing tbh.

What is embarrassing is how Dave CONSTANTLY gets the < and > signs the wrong way around. Pretty amusing when he's making a point to then negate it by using the wrong sign Cheesy

I can't think of many people who go around loling about how good life is than Dave. Even when the chips are down the whole banking/housing/ utilities world are trying to bring down morale he still has a way of smiling about it. He finds an amusing side to even the stickiest of situations

So you write in your sleep? That explains a lot.
