When I try to go to Betfair, I automatically go here:

http://search.freeze.com/search.aspx?programid=132&q=betfair.com&ApplicationID={5C4D1A6A-E21E-44AA-BC77-CA33675F8B27}&sc=0&keywords=&programname=My.Freeze.Com&isFromErrorPage=1&SearchConfigurationID=4&SearchType=3&ApplicationType=2&type=W3i_NA,132,3_6,NA%20Error,20120727,16934,0,30,0

It seems like Betfair is the only site which causes my computer to go here.

Any clues to the problem?

Have you installed anything recently?

Looks like some kind of adware that hijacks page requests.

What browser are you using, and does the same thing happen on different browsers?

Straight from Yahoo Answers:

Sounds like an app called "NetAssistant" or "Simppull". Both are distributed by Freeze.com. You should be able to remove those through the Control Panel's uninstaller (Add/Remove Programs in XP or Uninstall a Program in Vista & Win7).

Sometimes when you install a legitimate application a smaller toolbar or other ad is included in it (for ££ advertising/PPC obv).

Have a look in add/remove programs (progams and features for Vista/Win7) and see if you can see any of the applications above if so uninstall them.

It doesn't sound malicious although there are browser hijacking viruses which send any internet traffic to compromised sites, whilst similar i dont think this is whats happened in your case.
