cant decide: was thisnking of playing the £400 genting in stoke 100k gurentee 25kstarting 25-50 ALL THE LEVELS!!!!! 2 or 3 day event.
or:
£200 at DTD 100k guentee 50k starting BLINDS START 50-100 30min clock untill level 14 or 15 the goes to 40min clock
thinkg the genting is better value.

Obviously both will be great comps, both good structures
blonde is sponsored by DTD so best to bear that in mind when posting!
DTD is same guarantee, half the buy in though...it runs to WSOP Main event blind levels so loses nothing in comparison to the other structure
good luck whichever you play

Having updated the DTD comp and seen how slow it is, there's definitely value there.
I would play the DTD but then again, I am biased.

If there is a choice and assuming all things are equal, (travel time and costs) then its always DTD.

Genting are serious competition to Dtd by running their events at The same time as Dtd deepstacksThey are doing everything perfectly except clashing with Dtd's deepstacks. I would play their events if they did not clash with Dtd.
Loyalty is a key factor for me so I will be sticking with Dtd as they have put so much effort into improving uk poker over the last 5 years. Genting are making it hard tho.

Have you not played a Genting leg George? I know of a few Dtd regs who have seats for Stoke and will only be at Dtd if they bust Stoke. The thing stopping me doing this is that in one of Robs blogs he made note of the Dtd regulars who played Edinburgh and told the valets to pee in their tea

I dont want to be seen as stiring it up, however you guys have to seriously consider the genting tournament. It is SUPER slow with a horribly soft field and it has been smashing the gtd.
I played Leg2 in London and did well but couldn't go too deep due to raise/ folding <77 all day 2.
I know dtd is solid and I play there as much as possible, however with the loss of the regular 500 (our fault, not enough runners) it gets closer imo.
Im unable to play the genting day 1 so I will be at dtd, but for those of you with a choice DO NOT underestimate how good those gentig comps are.

must be two start days for genting tho as they are filling the venues and then some. Please reconsider the Genting tour, I reckon I could have a wip round from Dtd regs and get you 2 bullets on a free roll from all the Dtd players that would rather you were in stoke
