lol nice try

I'm not trying to get you to use your wildcard. I'm just saying what I would do if I was in your situation and illustrating the point that a wildcard could be of different value to different people, even if they had identical teams.
But you said you were happy with team, so in that case I would not advise you to use it.

I don't believe you. Why else would you call my team horrific?

Without wanting to give all my secrets away with a full article whilst I'm watching the NFL lets just say I couldn't be any happier with the match ups for the majority of my players for the next 6 or 7 gameweeks. Granted, my transfers were made before Arsenal lost at home this weekend and Liverpool continued to flatter to deceive, but I, unlike you apparently (and taking unto account your anti Liverpool posts on Tips for Tikay), still have a lot of faith in these 2 sides production going forwards.

Lol, too funny. I'm not trying to get you to use your wildcard!!
If you think your team is great then using your wildcard would be pointless as you'd only buy the players you already have!
If I had your team and a wildcard, I would use it as I would change almost the entire team. You on the other hand, really like your team and wouldn't change it. So don't. Don't use your wildcard.

Why would I call your team horrific? Well, cos I disagree with your view that your team is great. I am of the belief that it is, in fact, horrific. Well obviously using 'horrific' is clearly for rubs, I actually think the phrase 'sub standard' would be more correct.
I'm not using any level 6, reverse double bluff mind games. That's what I think. You have your opinion and I have mine. We can agree to differ.
But you are 81 points in front of me. And, let's not forget, you beat me last year too. So go with what you're doing as it's working pretty well.

If I don't win it, then I hope you win it all. Honestly.

Thankyou mate. Thats nice of you.

I don't think my team is great, especially after Bale's knock and Cisse not playing despite "an engaging performance where he looked back to his best" in the previous game away at Sunderland. I just think its quite decent.

One of the reasons I am wary of using my wildcard is that Gareth J/Premier Lead (last years champion I think) still has his and iirc last season he waited and waited till near the end of the season and waited for the ultimate double gameweek (due to weather postponements in Jan/Feb), he pounced, used it, scored about 120 points and shot to the top.

With regards to DGW obv you know this but they're not all created equal! Last year IIRC  the one you're referring to involved Spurs, Chelsea and another decent side, forget who. So if you loaded your team with DGW players then they were still viable assets in the following weeks. In fact I think a number of teams only put 9/10 players out the GW before so as to load their teams with CHE/SPU and to not take hits.

But the one I remember from the year before had Blackpool/Birmingham in it so wasn't quite the goldmine being stuck with D.J Campbell and Zigic! Having said that harsher winters so increased chance of postponements (due to conditions near the grounds, not frozen pitches) and potential for replays in FA Cup means they'll be a DGW at somepoint. So, holding onto your wildcard for it isn't the risk. It's which teams end up in it that is the gamble.

Fuck this game.

I have the inverse midas touch at the minute.

Made a great move with the 3 liverpool players and its just amazing how many chances they missed between them over 3 games - they are famed for it i suppose and i always mock people for getting liverpool players in, serves me right.

I have an injury crisis now to.

I need Collocini to score a double hat-trick tonight to get me out on the week.

There are gonna be a lot of teams with missing players this week. Suarez and Bale out and they have high percentage ownership

To be fair I didn't start it but it is quite impressive it's more than you were scoring with your starting 11 at the end of last season  Tongue

I went on tilt last season and only picked players with a Z in their name so some weeks only had 9 men. It would be easier this season as influx of players with z in their name like hazard and cazorla and even some defenders to choose from like azcueulepta who is new. I even cheated and brought in zat knight as there were only 4 defenders in the whole game with a z in

ok I'm not in the blonde league, but have been going reasonably well all season (by my prior standards)

Help me out here

this weekend I have to perm 4 from 5 in midfield (play 3-4-3)

Michu at home to Man U

Nolan at home to Everton

Pienaar away to West Ham

Sterling home to Fulham

Hazard home to Villa

Who would you leave out and why?
