Tony Kendall raises to 2,800

A Klaxon sounds by the cash desk, to alert all tables

Harish Sahnan 3 bets to 8,000

Kendall, roused from his slumbers, and his betting thread, and his emails, and his HTC phone

4 bets to 37,000, leaving himself 3,000 behind

Sahnan ponders this activity. He seems perplexed. A 4 bet? Kendall?

He flats this 4 bet

Flats it

What can this mean?

The flop comes

Kendall, forever setting new trends in poker, bets 1,200 into this 75,000 pot, leaving himself 1,800

Sahnan beats him into the pot

What can this mean?

Kendall, who can only have one of two hands to 4 bet pre flips..guess, go on, guess, yep...

Sahnan flips...guess, go on, guess....

I bet you didn't think the flat of the 4 bet pre meant  ?

turn

River

Kendall doubles to over 80,000

I was told to write it up with flair. Hence the flowery bollocks.

Karl Harvey all in for 16,000 in the hijack

Tony Kendall calls in the cut off

Harish Sahnan all in 60,000 in the small blind

Back to Kendall, he calls just covering Sahnan

Harvey 4-4

Kendall A-K

Sahnan A-Qhh

Trebles Harvey up

Kendall wins the bigger side pot

Sahnan out

Kendall 88,000 with blinds going 1000-2000 and 74 left

Rastafish 220,000 and if not chip leader v close to it

He's moved onto a table next to Dan Stancer who has a similar stack, which Rastafish is now eyeing with all the excitement of Jaws approaching Amity Island beach in the school holidays

I asked Rasta how he was doing and received this reply

"Good man. Stay close man, I win when you are working here. When that girl works here I finish second man. I win all my chips with good hands (voice up an octave, Jamaican Patois for effect) b-rrrrrring, man, the Fish never steals"

Elsewhere amongst our heroes

cambridgealex is shortstacked, having witnessed a Kendall masterclass for several hours since Alex was moved onto his table. Heaven knows what price Kendall would be for Colombia

Sean Belton is out, and departed in high dudgeon 15 minutes or so ago

Mark McCluskey has over 100,000 on table Rastafish

Greek Jack is soldiering on, despite the rather unorthodox play displayed by his table chip leader Andrew Tuxworth

Alex Sham is also on table Rastafish, lost ground since earlier though

Big contingent here from the west Midlands too. The likes of Matt Cartwright and veterans Darshan Sami and Essy Jahanpour are all handily placed
