Live £80 Tournament with 1 Re-entry allowed at Genting Luton

Starting stack is 25k and I have 26.5k with the villain 25.5 and blinds are 50/100 on a 40 min clock

The Villain is a female circuit reg with some decent live results to her name and everyone else on the table is typical of location/tournament

UTG2 Limps, H/J Limps, Villain 275, Btn calls, SB calls we find "The Beltons"  in the big blind and 3b to 925 which all bar UTG limper call and we see a flop of
 two spades      (Pot 4725)

SB Chks, Hero 1525  too small?, H/J Fold, CO Calls, Btn Calls, SB Calls

Turn     (Pot 10825)

SB Chks, I Chk, Villain bets 6250, Btn Dwells sighs then Folds, SB Folds, I call    Thought's on turn pls

Will post River after some FB

Definately betting more on the flop this many ways. 3475 sounds like a good number imo.

Reasons for checking turn?

More on flop, we have a good hand and it's live so good to bet as many chips as we can, i'd go like 3.5k.

Def bet turn for value.

Loads more on flop.

Providing a fourth spade doesn't hit I'd be value betting all the way to the river.

As played, call this bet and providing a non-spade hits (pref board pair obv) lead the river for a decent chunk.

Ok I actually did a switcheroo on this hand and I am in fact the villain in the CO but wont disclose my hand yet so let's imagine I am still the hero with QQ

River     Pot 23325

We have 18k back and just cover the villain.

I check again and after a short dwell the villain goes AI for 16700

Calling?

Nah, i actually sent the hh to pads with me as the CO and it just sounded ghey but I felt I had a few flaws in my thinking during the hand so wanted thoughts on Hero's line with QQ as I actually felt I was VB the turn and setting up the river for the jam.  Sad

IYO how is my line from the CO?

Deffo revealed the switcheroo too early! At this point I have no idea who is who and what you actually have, but QQ here should definitely bet waaaaaaaay more on the flop - the ace/king of spades are not folding this flop and a bigger bet gives them more incentive to just pile it in. Absolutely have to bet the turn.  still isn't folding in this tournament,  certainly isn't folding either.

As played I think if you check the turn it should be to check/jam. He obviously has some flushes in his range but actually not that many since his range of suited spade hands that raises over two limpers isn't going to be all that wide anyway and the is dead too. Villain won't always be raising stuff like KTss/KJss.

yeh im really confused but yeh pretty much what Dan said.

If you're cutoff Eso, and you've iso'd the limpers, peeled the 3b and flop bet and now bet the turn. There's only one hand I like you line with lol. KQsuited Cheesy

All sets/flushes should raise the flop. AQ should check behind the turn. Don't like turning 88 into a bluff here vs a pretty strong range and you can't rep much.
