How would we price up the week 16 San Fran @ Seattle game? San Francisco small favourites?

San Fran a shade under 2/1 in a 100% book @ New England?

Many thanks for any help with this.

Difficult without knowing the playoff implications at the time.

As it stands now, agree with Seattle, I'd be a little bit shorter at the Pats. nearer 6/4 than 2/1

Yeah it could literally be anything from Seattle -5.5 to SF -7 depending on who needs what on the day. Seattle are roughly 7/2 shots for the division and I backed that at the beginning of the season @ 6's and think 7/2 seems about right although if Kaepernick was benched I would fancy it but realistically I think we are going to be looking at a wild card spot.  They are pretty well placed right now and  3 wins will almost certainly get them there.  I kinda like the bet.

No, tickets for single games don't go on sale until the new year.

Not the NFL's finest week, this one!  Cowboys Josh Brent now arrested for DUI Manslaughter for a crash that killed one of their practice squad players earlier today.

Interesting to see the Heisman Trophy being won by a freshman for the first time (I can't see any reference to him being a true freshman, so I assume he must've red-shirted for a year).

I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not for his long-term NFL prospects.  Surely his stock can only fall from here on out until the time he makes himself draft-eligible?

Manziel is definetely a redshirt, he was originally committed to Oregon but decided to stay near home in Texas. Which would have been interesting given how good Mariota (another redshirt) has been this year.

There just wasn't many standout candidates this year and Manziel had a record breaking year in the best (especially defensively) conference so was the clear choice on performance.

Here is who we are talking about if you don't follow college.

Too small to be an NFL QB surely?

Cincy -3 for me today was the only thing I found on the card but even that is only a small fancy. Does anyone like anything?

That was the big concern that everyone had about Russell Wilson this year, but he's defying the doubters so far.  It's a disadvantage, yes, but doesn't make it impossible.

I would also use Michael Vick, who's an inch shorter at 6ft tall, as another counter-example but would need to time-warp both of us back to 2009 first.
