Afternoon. Interested in people's thoughts about a hand I feel I totally misplayed.
UKIPT Newcastle Main Event. Day 2 first level of the day. Table had a lot of short stacks on it. I was about 3rd or 4th in chips on the table with 36k. Dynamic is pretty unimportant as the hand was played against a guy who had literally just sat down. Steven Warburton
http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=99388 who had 80k. He was late arriving and this was his first hand at the table.
blinds 400-800/50
Hero stack 36,000
Opponent stack 81,000
I'm in early position and raise to 2,000 with

Mr Warburton is in mid-position and asks how much I'm playing before flatting. Everyone else gets out of the way.
Flop is

I lead out for 2,500 and he thinks for a short while and raises to 6,100.
What would you do?
Additional info, I was very hungover and really didn't want to be there. Budvar dark is a dangerous drink. Also don't order a G&T in newcastle. They will laugh in your face while serving you and ask you if you want a slimline tonic before laughing at you again.
