Well, those of you that venture into the "staking thread" board will know I am playing the GUKPT this week and hoping to raise a few pounds for the hospice that helped look after my old man before he passed away earlier in the year - all the details are here, I am playing Day 1B FRIDAY:-

http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=58850.0

It just sort of sums up all that is good about the people that punt and play poker; 30 Blondes and a few others have already ensured that we have raised nearly £1500 guaranteed before the spin up....although I kind of wish I'd planned it and got one of the cool kids to play.  Mind you, I am due and will try not to 6 bet jam   in honour of railtard this week and stay a little balanced.

Anyway, a massive thank you to all who have donated, all of you more than the £21 a share minimum donation.  The shares have all gone, however if anybody would like to make a donation, they would really appreciate it - I have had a few PMs so thought I would post here as well, hope the mods don't mind and I'll make it a 3 day diary as well.

I know there are thousands of good causes out there; however likehood is that we will all have our lives touched by cancer; I spoke to mum today and these guys are really struggling and the case worker that looked after dad is likely to be made redundant; so any small donation helps.  So if any of you hit goals galore, tips for tikay, an all correct yankee or bink a WCOOP over the weekend, feel free to flick a bit in

Not like me to beat the charity drum, however promised dad I'd do something to help and other than donating directly or picking out a "Goals Galore" acca this is all I know (many would argue I don't know that.....), wasn't built to swim the channel.

Thanks for reading, I'll hopefully put a day one report up - and if your playing remember what I am doing and don't 4 bet me light, please

Lol - only person on table I ever call c/r against is Pizzo - and it's him that hit. He kind of played it face up, but its Pizzo and thought he might be spewing Q river. Back to the grind

Go on hero, and not just because a soft table would be nice on Saturday!

Just 25k at dinner despite knocking out Pizzo and Devilfish...sort of yo-yo ing as is the norm.  Had to pass  to Happy Max - when he 5 bet jam, if you've ever played with Max, it's pretty standard. He's a lovely old boy who loves the game, reminds me of when I nearly got in a fight with an internet kid on the Ladbrokes cruise defending him. Basically he had butchered a hand, as he often does but got there and knocked the kid out. He basically proceeded to really lay into Max, who must be mid 60s and I got involved - felt good, so don't mind the pass to him.

I'll keep grinding Doobs to give you some value
