3G is such a hero and ive laid them to LilDave. Most amazing performance I can remember in a longtime, Westwood been so average.

Great sporting event, beyond tilted that Im not there with Flushy and Mitchell- atmosphere is ridiculously good

5-3 would a great result for day 1 the way the septics have played.

Leave Westwood, Lawrie and Kaymer in the bar tomorrow and it's all to play for.

They got decent tickets with International Pavilion access so just get smashed in bar watching. Gotta be better than indoors

The whole play everyone thing is just wrong. On form Kaymer should have been told he aint playing till the singles and he is last out, pray Ryder Cup is over before he can contribute. GTO approach

Sorry Keith, but I was at the RC a few years ago at the Belfry and it was a fantastic experience, deffo one of the top 3 live events I've been to. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

From what I've seen Hanson not played too badly.

He's been better than Lawrie at least.

Why Donald and Poulter were left out this afternoon, heaven only knows.

Fair enough, never been to a Ryder Cup.

Just love watching it on tv.

Although Sky's coverage has been tez.. should have every shot from every game on the red button.

Kaymer should have done a Sandy Lyle and stood down from the team

Think Martin Laird would have been a decent choice (although he can only play on a one way course.. not sure if this is his way)

It would have been particularly unjust had 3G not won that match having carried Westwood on his shoulders for the entire round and shot 62 into the bargain.

He just said in his post-match interview "you just have to go with what's in your pants" unless I misheard.
