Looks good may have to come up for a week for a Poker holiday in the new year. Love Sheffield.

It would appear Genting have been forced to react already. There has been significant imrovement in G's schedule and Genting have reacted apparently. There has been a noticable increase in the amount of players in just the last week with knocked out tourney players then migrating to cash (where I can out fish them for a bit Smiley  )

You would have thought the new player in town would be trying to lead, but it appears they are followers. Not even any added or guarantees for their regular tourneys, which to be fair is what most people play.

I said that competition would help, but it seems Genting throwing money at us in September did nothing to gain any regular business. I am sure Grosvenor are happy to lose customers for one big comp a month a keep the players for the other 27ish days of the month.

Genting is holding a £200 FO in Sheffield guaranteed at £40,000.

I think it's towards the end of next week.

Is it not a short term view to have a comp not hit its guarantees? i would rather see a club make its guarantee and go for bigger guarantees. Like DTD do. If this comp flops on its arse then genting are not going to support future comps there.

This is a club that is wanting to hold GPS grand final's there i imagine a comp like that is going to suit a player like yourself rather than a £200 freezeout. It has to have support and meet guarntees otherwise they are never going to go bigger.

Callum there is no point in going over the subject of "bigger games" as it's just not going to happen.

The Genting big ones have done well, but they just do not want to retain it with a local bigger game.

G Casino again failing with Monday night poker too.

PS - It's Thursday and Friday of next week Jason, I have just checked for you.

Think me and Adam are going up on Thursday night to play. What are the cash games like? 1/2 game running in Genting? Really don't wanna go to G. It's awful in there
