thanks biddy
a few more books have priced up now so i have a few small plays
WOLVERHAMPTON 5.50 £20 WIN BAJAN BEAR 6-1 BET365 £15 WIN ALL RIGHT NOW 12-1 PADDY POWER
a trappy looking race, Bajan Bear often looks unlucky but my feeling is he either needs a mad pace to chase at 6 or 7 (two wins last season came at 7)
back to 7 furlongs here the newmarket form last time is by far the best on offer in here, the trainer form remains a worry but 6-1 is a point and a half bigger than expected.
All Right Now ran a perfectly good comeback at southwell last time after a long break is fairly handicapped win record a concern but the fact the trainer had a 20-1 winner yesterday (first win for a while) suggests this decent stable is coming into form for the all weather (trainer has a very good record on the all weather overall)
WOLVERHAMPTON 7.20 £20 WIN ARTIC LYNX 5-1 general £10 WIN JUDD STREET 12-1 GENERAL
we have the first repeat horse for the thread, after putting it up here as my first selection i perhaps harshly suggested it ran the same race it always does. Having re watched the race a good few times now the horse gets stopped around the home turn the pace probably wasnt strong enough and the rider didnt have his finest hour. This field looks slightly easier and the run showed enough to think cowell can get at least a couple of wins from it this winter.
Judd Street is an old favourite of mine (10!!) and may be a case of heart ruling head. Been a grand servant who has been especially good on the all weather over the years including in dubai, been much lighter raced this season and ran a lovely race at kempton on comeback under a kind ride. May need the headgear back on plus this run for peak fitness but in a class 4 the old boy might just think im better than this lot!
thanks

If Thane of Cawdor doesn't run well, I hear his connections will be taking him to a different trainer. He shall be King hereafter.
