I've been waiting to win another RSQ for a while. Indeed I had an idea a while ago and did the prep but someone else got in ahead of me. cf I think, it usually is.

My youngest child is 13. I sent her into School before the Summer holidays with a Questionnaire and asked her (in the last days before they broke up, with the permission of her teacher) to get her friends to fill in the forms

I explained it was important research for "work"

She smiled. She knows me too well

Being a trooper though, that weekend the forms came back. Completed

So, we have a Sheep Quiz for you all. You have to pick the most popular answers from the school kids to the questions given to them

The Control Group

30 12 and 13 year olds
Year 8 in a State School
School is in a Village, with a catchment area of surrounding villages.
Boys and girls though I do not know the split of each. The replies aren't named
The clue would be that she mostly has girls as friends, not boys

How to Play

Send me answers by Tuesday 23rd October midnight
The Quiz will be Wednesday 24th October 8pm
No passes
You will score points to the value of the number of kids responses that match yours
If you give a response that was not given by any of the 30 kids, you get a fail and ten points is taken off your score
You can google, it won't help much
The winner is the person with the highest score after ten questions
In the event of a tie break, the winner is the person who has the highest "lowest score" for a question ie player A's lowest score is 2, Player B is 1,Player A wins

So, think like a 13 year old, and answer the below by PM to me

1. What is your favourite subject at school?

2. What do your parents tell you off the most for?

3 On a school night, what time do you go to bed?
(responses have been grouped into 30 minute segments eg 7.30-8pm, 8pm-8.30pm etc)

4 Who is your favourite pop star at the moment?

5 What do you want to do when you leave school?

6 Where are you going on holiday this summer (country)?

7 What is your favourite Disney film?

8 My favourite school dinner is (main course, hot meal)?

9 The best thing about school is....

10 If you have a pet, what pet do you have?
(some multiple answers, each type of pet mentioned scores one point so more than 30 responses including "no pet")

Good luck

Haha quality.

One thing I would suggest is "wrong" answers only score 0. Like on Pointless. Though the other way around obviously.

Terrific ingenuity there Tighty.

We just have to learn how to think like an pre- adolescent female now.

I expect some very high scores for this one.

All the questions are reasonably straightforward. As you are looking for most popular answers no one should be going for questionable answers and risking a fail. The penalty for a fail is thus a negative score, rather than a zero

Without using google?

I am kind of hoping that your average 5 year old girl thinks the same way as your average 13 year old.  If so I am on to a winner here.
