Hi all,

There's a lot of tournies coming up that I would like to sell action for, so I thought it might be fun to do an Eso-style 20-page thread with action and tourney reports all one place.

These are the tournaments, with the action I am looking to sell and the face value of 10%:

2 Nov DTD Deepstack  £560x2 = £1120 30%   £112
7 Nov UKIPT Bristol      £770                 25%   £77
10 Nov UKIPT Hiroller   £2150               50%   £215
23 Nov GPS Sheffield   £430x2 = £860   25%   £86
30 Nov GUKPT Grand Final £2625           50%   £263
5 Dec WPT Prague      €3300                50%   €330 = £279
6 Dec Eureka Prague   €1100                25%   €110 = £93
9 Dec EPT Prague       €5300                50%   €530 = £447
12 Dec GSOP Prague   $1500                30%   $150 = £97

10% of total = £1669 @ face value

Auctions are not particularly popular Sad but I quite like them and am interested to find out how people value the tournaments, (e.g. whether the EPT sells at a higher or lower price than the WPT), so I'm doing a separate auction for each tourn rather than auctioning the whole package; will open them all up now and close each one 72hrs before the tournament starts. If you just want to keep it simple and bid for 5% in everything at 1.2 or whatever then that's fine too.

Money:
I can take payment in ££ bank transfer, stars $/€/£ or moneybookers $. Each auction will close 72hrs before the start of the tournament which should allow plenty of time to pay in advance. If payment hasn't been sent before the tournament starts then I'll cancel that percentage and either offer it up to the next highest bidder (at their bid price) or keep it myself.

Returns will be due in the currency paid out by the tournament. I can convert money to almost any payment method requested but any costs of conversion will be paid by the backer. I'm usually pretty good at minimising these costs though.

I usually play online cash as my main game with live tournaments on the side, however with various life stuff going on I've played relatively few live tournaments in 2012. With some life expenses coming up (will be in touch about the kitchen lee) I am looking to put in some serious grind and win some money to cover them asap.

Small print:
None of the tourns overlap except for maybe I would have to miss the GSOP if I won EPT Prague, so I shouldn't miss any tournaments without a good reason; if I do then I will refund any money sent plus a 10% inconvenience fee. Should my financial circumstances change for any reason, I might cancel and restart an auction with a smaller % for sale, or just cancel it altogether, however I won't change or cancel any percentages after an auction finishes (72 hrs before each tournament).

edit: with the addition of the Eureka Prague event (clashes with day 2 of wpt) and my noticing that the UKIPT hiroller overlaps with Day 2 of the main, actually quite a few tourns overlap. The promise in the above paragraph stands tho, just being 100% clear.

I will repost the auction rules below for those not familiar.

Flame away people Smiley

I am selling percentages of my gross prize money in the above listed events. Anything outside of the prizepool $ is not included.
Auctions will close 72hrs before the scheduled start of the tournament (72hrs before I am scheduled to start, so only 24hrs before the actual start of the tournament if I'm playing 1c for example).
Payment must be sent before I sit down to play or the percentage will be voided and either resold or kept by me.
Everyone who is interested in buying a piece should make a bid for a certain percentage with the maximum price they would be prepared to pay for that piece. e.g. pleno 5% WPT Prague @ 1.3
All the bids are arranged in descending order by price* and the top X percentiles**, where X is the % indicated above, 72hrs before the tournament win the auction.
Every winner pays the price of the lowest winning bid.

*In the event of a tie, the bid made first chronologically will take precedence
**This may involve one person receiving only part of the percentage that they bid for.

You can make as many bids as you like, e.g. if you would buy 10% at 1.1 but only 5% at 1.2, you can make 2 bids, 5@1.1 and 5@1.2, if the strike price finishes 1.1 or below you will have 10%, between 1.1 and 1.2 you will get 5% and over 1.2 you won't buy any.
Bids will be rounded to 2 decimal places, i.e. 1.333 will be considered the same as 1.33 and ranked chronologically
Bids are binding and cannot be withdrawn, I am ending the auctions in plenty of time to chase everyone up for payment before the event.
To prevent any <0.5 shenanigans, the minimum price will be 1.0
In the event of some unforeseen dispute arising the referee's* decision will be final.

As my name was mentioned in a Keys thread it would be rude not to bid so will take 2% of all tournies at 1.275 please.

I seem to remember you having 2 mirrion aussie dollars at one point. Then you felt guilty and decided to help the aged & swap it with some old boy pensioner for his one mirrion aussie dollars which was awfully generous. What did you do with that one mirrion Aussie dollars that the old boy let you keep. Heard you bought a Nissan Micra and some furniture but not heard owt else since. Smiley
