Just bust the highroller in 10th last hand of the day. TR for the 2 comps:
UKIPT Main: Early on I lost 10k or so with a set vs straight, guy opened mid position I peeled sb with JJ, flop AJ5r I check-call, turn

I check-raise and call a shove and lose to 64dd which turned an up-and-down flush draw. Was left with 6k or so which I hung on for 3 or 4 levels with until I reshoved 7k at 200/400 with A2o btn vs cutoff. In this comp that may have been a fold I'm not sure about it tbh.
Highroller: Was going well on 70-80k from 20k starting stack with 10 left. I quite liked this comp tbh, not many good players bothered with it and most of those that did seemed more concerned with trying to get it over with in one day so they wouldn't miss any of Sunday. There were 8 or 9 satellite qualifiers so a third of the field, and the structure is pretty good. I hope they don't bow to pressure to turn it into a turbo, along with the 3% rake they take out of the prize pool it'd make it not worth playing.
Final hand, 5 handed in the cutoff playing 75k I peeled a 2.5k utg open with A3s (possibly should have 3bet) and Kevin Williams squeezed the button to 6.6k playing 80k+. Utg had a 40k stack and I felt Kevin was light here a lot, plus it was only 4.1k more to call and A3s innit. I also think 4betting would put me in a very awkward spot vs anything but a fold. So I called and check-raise-called all in on T54ssx (flush draw + gutshot + over) and lost to KK. I'm 55% favourite on the flop
