First post guys, go easy on me - could be pretty standard for most but just wanted to see if there's anything different I could've done (apart from c-bet the flop) to change the outcome of the hand. I've been beating myself up about it since and don't think I should be..

.50/1 @ DTD on Saturday night, last hand of the night and I pick up  - UTG+1 with around £225.

UTG+1 makes it £2, I repop it to £7 with 5 players behind me.

Cut off and button fold, others call.

Flop is

UTG+1 checks, I check (very aware I should've c-bet but knowing people like to gamble in the last few hands I wanted to keep the pot small)

Villian 1 behind me open jams like £65, been playing a bit suicidal the last hour, jamming 47o pre a few hands ago.

Villian 2 tanks for a few minutes and then jams for £140 - folded round to me.

Thoughts? I was snap calling Villian 1 but this put me in a slightly trickier spot..

Put them both on worse hands, then call.

Think at best you're against 1 draw, so either fold or call and HOLD. Hopefully they both have flush draws so you have less outs to dodge as long as they don't have 4039245729038 overcards. Don't think you're ever beat but your hand isn't great here.

Welcome to Blonde.

Put them both on worse hands, then call.

Is this how it works?!

Definitely favour either raising to £10 or £12 preflop, or flatting. Raise to £7 achieves little.

As mentioned by others versus two players I don't like your spot on the flop.

JJv67vAT = 50%
JJvKsQsvAT = 34%
JJvKsQsv67 = 28%
JJv45vAT = 18%
JJv45vKsQs = 16%

We're in bad shape vs 44 55 and 10 10 too ...

but it is the last hand of the night and we can pretty much break even on it by winning pot 2

Yh defo raise more pre-flop, simple reason for this is that it's late, people are being very cally and stubborn and are almost certain to commit more money to the pot with worse hands than you, I'd maybe evn make it as much as £20. It will also make post-flop a bit easier when you're shallower with this hand.

Like you say, you should certainly be betting the flop here. Pot control is a defo something to consider, but I think for the most part you shouldn't bother with it too much in cash games, pots that are small have a habbit of getting big very quickly, speahly when multi-way so just bet when you have what's very likely the best hand. If people wanna gamble then they are going to gamble way better to have yourself take the best of it in an all-in gamble than give them chances to outdraw you or bluff you for free.

As played OTF I'd go with this, as established V1 could have a wide variety of hands and V2 thinks you're almost certainly folding (you'd never check an OP here right?? Smiley ) so I wouldn't be surprised to see him show up with just a Ten here quite a bit.

Yeah this was the approach I took haha. Figured V1 had to have a draw most of the time here and with V2 tanking I was sure she'd hit the 10 and had an overcard, she never thinks I'm calling..

Board ran out    Two Diamonds and V1 turned over 67, V2 turned over  (?) so made the wheel. Guessing she thought her A high was good to take it down vs V1 draw??

Appreciate the feedback guys, helps a lot, thanks.
