George Thorne is a nice signing too, will sit in front of the defence and soak it up, good prospect.

Neil Warnock has been on the charm offensive saying how he feels Palace will be able to maintain their run and go up automatically. I know only some of our squad still exist that played under Warnock but he is very well liked by Palace fans and he is clearly at it with the mind games.

I am shocked with where Leeds are in the table and would never have thought Warnock would be having so much trouble this season. Surely shouldn't be long until they are pushing for playoffs. Only takes one run and he took Palace from a similar position before into the top 6.

Peterborough got a decent result today which is good to see. Can't believe Middlesbrough lost 3-1 at home to Bristol City and Millwall are now the team to watch out for. 9 games unbeaten I think!

With bates gone and the rub of the green we can beat anyone in the division. Leeds have been poor coz we ain't brought quality players in and bates has not spent a penny for 6 months until the buyout happened. Added to this 3-4 of our better players been out for a few months meant a shambling run of results. Everyone was literally waiting for the takeover and it seems the players were too. The two loan signings yesterday gave us the core down the middle strength we needed. I think with McCormack fit and two, three more signings xmass we will compete for the playoffs maybe 6-10 spots.

Hoping you know more about the match today than I. Was it a fair result? All I am getting is biased opinion. I normally wait for the manager interviews before I judge how close a game was as they are normally forthright in what they think about how the game went and if they try to bullshit normally it is as clear as day.

What I heard from very biased Palace fans is that you got two deflected goals. We dominated play for the last 70 mins without converting when we should have.

To me thought it sounds like you probably aggravated us, hassled us and were good for your win.

I think we now have a battle on our hands at the top of the table and oddly enough I really don't think Millwall can be ruled out of things! You have been going through a torrid time of late, but Sheffield Wednesday is hardly a team that was going to show much resistance, they have been playing very poorly of late.

Wide open at the top and I think it is nigh on impossible to pick a team that is going to win the Championship from here.

If that is what you want you have the right man for the job. As I said before you have, imo, a great manager, who will propel you up the table. You are talking to a fan from only one or two clubs that will have something nice to say about Warnock though!

Should really have 7-8 more points than we do - someone will get hit for SEVEN soon.

Ha, hilarious that you were on the ball to know he was suspended at all with the 5 yellows but fair play, shows you are quaking in your boots.

Just heard Holloway and seen match report. It sounds like we had the best of it in the first half and should have at least gone a goal up, then we could have really gone on top of them. As it stood they got into it and made it difficult. Apparently there is a penno decision we should have had but our rep for pens this season has meant we don't get given stonewallers so I won't be surprised if it is blatant.

I am really buoyed by what I have heard about the game from Palace tbh and I will be placing a minimum bet on Palace to beat Hull at 3.3. I know am taking heed of Doobs' advice on protecting what I have already won this season and what I can stand to make if Palace go up. £50 max from every round of championship matches. I did get brutally buggered today as I had Ipswich and Palace and I did tip Boro but they got embarrassed!
