You also have to consider if he carried on playing to his full potential automatic promotion would be likely and we would be in the prem by the summer and would never sell him. Which is terrible for him as pre season he penned a 5 year deal on what would be a pittance of a wage compared to any other player in the world of his standard.
So he basically has to leave us or sign a new contract with a higher wage, to.calm him down. Don't think the board would ever renegotiate the wage with him as he is contracted for so long, so we are going to be dealing with a complete cock of a player who is having a hissy fit and has no grace or respect whatsoever.
Those quotes in the article have irked me, I thought there was a slim chance that this was just genuine bad form he couldn't really control but I am now all but convinced hes not bothering now as that will only help in us disliking him and looking to get rid and then oh look he's Fucking amazing playing for whatever club we sell him to.
Next move by Holloway should be to play him for the Palace ladies team all through January and say there is five more years of that if you don't buck your ideas up.

Meh. I don't think he has said too much wrong in that article? If a Hornets player said that after a couple of year's good service I don't think I'd be too hacked off. As long as Palace get £10 million for him then I think it's cocktail hour all round? Very similar to when Ashley Young left us for Villa. He made it clear he wanted to go by the end and went with most people's blessing.

Most people have a vice where they can lose their shit and with Palace I guess that's it, much better than roulette five years ago! Hope Zaha plays better and we keep him past January and we get his form back. Would be a shame for anything else to happen. Think this year the standard of the top teams is nowhere near as good as years of old, but I wonder if anyone agrees?

Manchester United now after him, he seems in my view a lot better option for Man United than Arsenal or Chelsea.
Are Arsenal even interested?

Palace have to be one of the best simple passes teams in the Championship, ball retention from front to back is normally incredible. We are however a little one dimensional, if you can call it that, we can only really score after we have given the ball out onto the wings and then played it back in.
No real direct threat from outside the box at all and in Glenn Murray we have a player who is awful outside of the penalty box. He can't have a shot outside the box because he's not very good at that, he often just scuffs it. But that is not the worst problem in the world if he is emphatic tapping in and heading.
I think if we get Zaha back we are the best team in the league. Intrigued actually to see who Holloway brings in to help. I think Jacob Butterfield is coming in on loan.

Cardiff are by far the best side in this league imo. Zaha would not change that

Bellamy and Knockaert are the best players in the division, imo.
Leicester already have the best defence in the division (statistically) and I am hopeful that Wood and Nugent will develop a big partnership up top
Cardiff v Leicester next weekend will be a big test.
Just need to develop a bit more consistency and we'll really challenge for that second spot.
