As Rick said Wednesday played Wolves & they was the worst side we have played this season & he hits the nail on head with unable to convert chances. If it wasn't for Wolves having 33 points already and my own personal feeling that you will need just less than 50 points to stay up, it will mean Wolves will just have enough to stay up.

Worried about Birmingham, Lee Clark is just not a good manager.

I think Leicester will be the 2nd place finisher this season, best team I've seen at Hillsborough & Hull starting to disappoint against two of the worst teams in the league in the shape of Wednesday & P'boro, picking up one point.

I think Palace are in for a surprise & will finish out of the play-offs at this rate.

It's going to be tight for the play off spots.  There's always a surprise package that comes from nowhere later on in the season.

No idea who that might be though this year.

I do fancy Leeds to string something together.  Also Burnley have crept up on the rail and there is always Brighton of course.  Millwall seem to have faded, and I fear for Palace now.  Have to say I don't fancy Forest either, but I'm sure that will mean they beat us now at the weekend!

I must have posted my comment on after reading page 30 not 31, surely must be a bet for Birmingham to go down as players will likely to be sold for a lot less?

6/1 for relegation, worth fifty?

Sounded like an awful performance, but take the point.

HAVE to beat sheff wed + hull now to have any chance of top 6.

Long way to go, but the first signs of a gap developing between the top 6 and the rest now.

Long way to go, but the first signs of a gap developing between the top 6 and the rest now.

Everyone is faltering for points atm aside from Watford, Leicester and Cardiff, at the top. Means Palace are still in with a shout despite some horrid form.

Have had two of you know state you think Palace are probably going to drop out of reckoning but I put it to the thread that as soon as all this hassle with the transfer window is put to rest, the results will come back with a nice regularity. Also, every single draw we have had in our last 10 games aside from at Hull, we were the better team so we aren't getting the rub of the green. Despite this, still fourth!

Dikagcoi back soon, we have Butterfield in to replace Garvan as the playmaker, but we still have a right back problem and Ramage getting games which is never good. We do have all our other better centre backs out injured though.

Fully fit our defence is solid, as it is we are pretty pathetic in comparison and annoyingly I think its a couple more weeks until some players come back fit. We have good cover for Zaha if he goes, in Williams and I hear we are bringing in another striker to hopefully ease the load on Murray. Announced by the end of the weekend/early next week, apparently.

Garvan/Ward injuries are the biggest blows to our starting line up. Upsetting.

Will report back properly after Ward comes back in a couple of weeks, what I think our chances are.

yeah rumours are £7.5M cash upfront + £5M of add ons, with Powell going there on loan for the rest of this season.

Good deal considering Ince whose a better player is going to cost around £6M!

I am not sure of this "Ince is a better player" - people have been saying this for a long time & still he is at Blackpool.

Palace nowhere near as good as they was earlier and dropping like a stone, fancy them to drop out after Zaha leaves.

No guarantee Powell will be ready to make a significant impact at Championship level yet either.

Stats don't lie.

Last season

Ince: 6 assists, 6 goals (33 games)
Zahahahaa: 4 assists, 6 goals (41 games)

This season

Ince: 10 assists, 13 goals
Zahahahaa: 4 assists, 5 goals

Ince only like 10 months older too. Would love to see 'chances created' like they show on sky sports for the prem. Ince probably well over double that, just like his assists and goals stats.

Zaha also been booked 7 times in 26 games (probably 6 of them for diving).
