Upset is probably the wrong word - he probably just thought "sod it" (obviously he didn't get any rubbish from Watford fans but it must have got tiresome from away fans).
My dad won a pair of tickets for the Everton Watford Cup Final. Unfortunatelky they were in the Everton end. "Elton takes it up thearse" was a common refrain sung at least 50 times during the game. Even as a 13 year old, I thought "Yeah, he does. So what your point?"

I thought Elton John was bankrupt?
Thought too the Aaron post was either mostly misguided or a genuine attempt at a troll, so I let it just sit there.
For a little bit of gossip, i was sitting near one of the Palace chairmen on the way back from Sheffield on the train and I eavesdropped that he said Speroni is our most well payed player. I do wonder what that amount is I would say around £15k a week, as I think Andy Johnson in his height at our club was only on £25k

Elton John bankrupt?
lolol
despite lavish spending over many years "John was estimated to have a fortune of £195 million in the Sunday Times Rich List of 2011, making him one of the 10 richest people in the British music industry"

The two biggest divers in the champ on 8 yellows.
Would be funny if Murray and zaha don't play in the play offs because of that. Jedi one yellow away from a two match ban. Booked against hull and he will miss the brighton game.

He was bankrupt in 2002, and i guess, I haven't kept up on my Elton John news since!
You do know a lot about our yellow cards situation? Smells like fear to me.

I am not going to multi quote, but still believe Palace have spent their way to get up there. If you think Glenn Murray is on the same money he was on at Brighton then you are in another world. He just doesn't up root leave another city for same money and similar prospects.
If you read my quote correctly i said that he was offered the same as Brighton were offering as he was out of contract, but obviously the signing on fee that palace could give him, plus the additional year on his contract swayed him. Not sure where Murray lives but it is feasable that he never even had to move house.

Yeah you are right Ant, Speroni is on about £15k a week. Murray is on about £12k i think.

Another big night in the Championship tonight boys and girls.
Hope Brighton and/or Middlesbrough start to mess things up to enable us to sneak in on the last day of the season.
It is more hope than belief though.
Good luck if your team is playing tonight.
Can Wolves and Birmingham start to pull themselves to safety? Who's gonna grab that 2nd promotion spot?

I dont think you can miss the play-offs because of yellow cards. I think there is a cut off point around the end of April. All the stats pages i can find show Jedinak on 8 yellows the same as Murray and Zaha. El-Abd is on 9 for your lot though!

Murray took a very small pay rise to join palace
As somebody mentioned earlier in the week the signing on fee was the main attraction for him
He is certainly not on massive basic money at palace
