Can see Bolasie fading back into midtable Championship obscurity next season like he was at Bristol City to be honest.

He fed off of Zaha's confidence and improved so much as a player because of it. I think without Zaha, and real love and support from the manager, he will be nowhere near as effective. And there is every chance that what you predict will come true. Plus, he is 23 now, and I am wondering if he will ever learn to shoot.

His crossing isn't bad, but the guy has a mental block for shooting. He gets a rush of blood to the head and swings a terrible effort at goal. I think someone just needs to get him in training and break down the fear I think he has, so he can be calm when a shot on goal comes.

Tell him to pretend as if he is passing to someone in the top corner maybe. Get Dobbie to mentor him on finishing, as he is probably the best one in the team atm.

you can either finish or you cant as a rule

he may improve slightly but not enough to make the next step up

would not give up on him saw him twice for bristol city and he was superb

It really is one of the most frustrating things happening at Palace atm, his inability to shoot. Zaha has it as well to be fair, he is a terrible finisher, despite some neat goals this season, the abundance of chances they both have without a goal is mind boggling.

I think under Ferguson though Zaha will get that, plus he is only 20 years old and showing signs of improvement.

I have the feeling with Bolasie his shooting might never come and he won't be selected more because of it, he will get down, and not be as effective as he is now.

If he could cross and shoot to a medium pro midfield standard with his ability to get past players as it is now he probably would be in the Prem, after not too long. But big bloody ifs.

I love a good goalkeeper and he is one. One i don't like very much is Butland, mainly because he is overhyped and nowhere near the finished article, but still gets the move to the prem. I would say currently he is nowhere near the best in the championship.

Schmeichel however, when seeing him irl recently was very quick footed and dominant, and I am quickly thinking him to be the best in this league.

My views on Speroni too are getting changed by the fact I saw the gulf in class between the two. Speroni looked slow and uncoordinated in comparison and recently some of the stunts he has been pulling have been pissing me off. Rhodes's goal against him on Saturday was Speroni's fault, even though it is harsh to say, it was, no need to be going off of your line there.

Special mention to Olejnik of Peterborough too who often gets overlooked, he often inspires a lot of their wins, and was exceptional against Palace at their ground.

I could go through all the keepers and pin point their flaws and pros in this league but there would be no call for it. Forde of Millwall, who once i thought was a complete oaf, is seemingly turning it on, coinciding with being given Ireland's number 1 jersey and fair play to him. Definitely operating at close to 100% and you can't fault anyone for that, despite some failings he has he will never overcome. He loves a superman punch from corners and isn't afraid to miss one too many Smiley

Want him to have an off day tonight.

Struggling to keep calm about the end of the season now.  I've done a hedge involving a mixture of backing Hull to be promoted and laying Watford.  Thoughts?  I'm sure it's not value, just emotional.

Watford auto, Hull lose playoffs   -1,000
Watford auto, Hull win playoffs   -190

We don't have as many jolly green giants as the likes of Woeful Wednesday, Dipshits and Burnley fo sho.

Pretty sure that's something FerJu will sort out in the summer. Bostwick and Zak is as good a partnership as we've ever had and they're both still young for that position, but we need a biggun in midfield to go with Payne and Kane.

Woeful is right Chompy.

Peterboro deserved the points on saturday, we (as expected) were awful.

Jones seems to be trying to keep games tight and sets up very defensively. Could be our downfall.

Instead of setting up to attack teams and have a positive outlook he's been playing for draws in the last 3/4 games. Very frustrating.

Wednesday are 14/1 to go down with bet365 and that is too big for me.

The confidence and momentum are with Barnsley and Peterboro which are big factors in winning football games.

On saturday Middlesboro should be there for the taking - they have injuries and they've sent back loans like Miller and McEachran. Trouble is Jones will continue to try to keep things tight. I can see us losing 1-0.

Not confident at all.

If it was Leeds would never appeal it. It was a shoulder charge, a mistake by the ref that cost us the game, playing with a man down most of the game and conceeding to a Tom Lee's howler, defo unlucky not to get point/s from the game. Not fussed about the result tbh, but ref was wank all game for both teams just it effected Leeds more negativly.

Mmmmmm - that's exactly the way I saw it on the replay, a good old style shoulder clatter    ....        not even a booking!

Awful reffing.

Still mathematically possible, so maybe they're optimists!

Palace are in a pretty good position with that point...they essentially need only a draw at the weekend to get into the top 6 (unless Bolton and Forest both rack up multi-goal wins).
