Had to laugh at Huddersfield/Barnsley match, so many different things happening throughout! Barnsley very lucky to be in this league by the sounds if it.

Saddo of the day alert

I am working DTD at 5pm and couldn't get a ticket for the game, before the Deepstack, try as I might

So took the car, sat in it behind the Bridgford end and followed the game via the crowd noises and radio

Left after 85 mins to avoid the crowds coming out and resigned to a "close but no cigar" day and then almost rear-ended someone when Knockaert scored in the 90th minute, on the road out to DTD

Commiserations to redsimon and Matt. Chompy too. Unlucky guys.

Up/down brief summary please?

Leicester 90th min winner at Forest, go into play offas Bolton don't beat Blackpool

Watford need to score against Leeds to beat Hull to promotion after Cardiff get last min pen to equlaise at Hull

Sadly, genuinely, Peterborough went. Hudd and Barnsley did a Germany/Austria for the last five minutes as they realised a draw kept both up

Brighton play Palace in the play offs...!!

The perfect outcome for our Brighton bet, yes?

who knows in the play offs?

Big rivalry. Brighton must be favourites to make Wembley, with that second leg at home.

Not so often that the 3rd and 4th placed teams make it as people would think though.

Genuine commiserations to Chompy.

Surreal experience at Huddersfield today.  Both teams in the bottom 3 at stages in the game. No Internet signal so all sorts of misinformation being fed.

And then, when news of Palace's 3rd comes through, the last two minutes of injury time consist of Luke Steele rolling the ball in front of him and everyone else standing in the centre circle.  Slightly odd, as the Palace game was still going on.

And then a big joint celebration of being from Yorkshire!

Weird scenes, but ultimately happy ones and the best outcome in terms of any possible trouble afterwards.

Truth is, Forest have finished exactly where we deserved, no complaints really.

Just gutted Leicester have made it, that's a sickener for us.

Brighton looking strong it would seem.

GL all anyway.  Enjoy the stress guys, at least I can relax now until August.

Leicester deserved the win, good luck in the play offs though I feel its Brighton's time.

Tighty, I feel bad now because I assumed you had a ticket when you complained they were £32 and had a spare (obv. in Forest end)Sad

thanks Simon

There were only 2400 tickets or so (from our viewpoint pretty scandalous, but Matt explained why from the Fiorest point of view) and had no chance without a season ticket this season and not living locally

I have been in enemy territory for games before (St James Park was fruity,Pride Park dangerous) and probably just as well I wasn't in it for the 90th minute today!

Goodbye yawl, it's been emotional.

I'm gonna start a Posh FC Thread + League One chat thread next season, so get ready all you Port Vale, Crewe and Rotherham fans. Just FML.

We'd have done well in The Champo next season but now I fear we could lose the likes of Olejnik, Rowe, Payne, Tomlin and Gayle. Goddamit.

Only thing that could make it worse is the Wobblers getting promoted, and Fattyfatwa Fattingfenwa strutting his monstrous frame around London Road next season.

Highest points total ever to get relegated out of the Championship

Plain unlucky, every chance of getting straight back if you can keep hold of that attacking flair though

Listened to most of the Posh game on the radio. Seemed like a really weird affair that both teams could have easily been two up in stages. I very much doubt that we deserved to win on reflection, but we nicked it. And it is terribly harsh on the Posh.

Be interesting to see what a win does to our confidence going into the playoffs.

Murray scoring a pen might help him out, I think he had two cleared off of the line today too. That could be a big help for us, that he has that monkey off of his back. Him firing could mean we look a totally different team.

The atmosphere at Selhurst and at the Amex should be electric, and I think the ties will be tighter than what most are probably imagining.

Gabbidon apparently was awful today, and he could prove a factor in if Brighton have a lot of fun with him.

Very nervy at Selhurst today. On the balance of play over the 90 minutes we deserved to win but defensively we were poor again.
Murray was unlucky with 2 efforts cleared off the line but played well second half with the confidence of scoring.
Williams and Dobbie made us look so much more effective when they came on

Cant wait for Friday night but Brighton big favs to go through IMO.
Fancy Leicester in the other tie.
