Posh twats eh camel?

Nah Ant didn't think you were asking out of anything but curiosity. Really hope we go up and you win the league next year.

Gd stuff, would like us to go up and u up next year to battle out the rivalry on a bigger stage, provided we stay up. That is fantasy though. This is unnervingly polite before a big game. I am going to go bloody mental during it. I am sitting by myself as I couldn't get two seats together, so I am going to get some intriguing looks, but i hope i have safety in numbers with other peeps that can't stop expressing themselves via different commands, as if i was the manager.

Or I could be deathly quiet, won't know until i get there. I just hope we win by more than 1. 1 up and we go into the second leg on par i think, 2 up and we have an advantage. 0-0 obv and it won't be looking too good.

Not going to post again until after the match, but please can we win. Please.

I want you guys to hold me to this statement too, I think Garvan will need to run the show if we are to have a chance. He will probs be starting just behind Murray and if he is playing well, we could have a chance. If he doesn't have a stormer though, he comes off for Williams methinks. Anyway lets hope for a banger!

6 of us all spread about different areas of the stand thanks to the stupid rules. Word is though that its Brighton stewards in our end so hopefully they let us all just go wherever given the circumstances...

I'm rooting for Brighton tommorrow. Fist Tony Bloom is something of a punting hero, just a legend as a pro gambler - and only met him once and just seemed a really likeable guy and very normal.

Secondly, I remember Brighton as a kid.  Thy were a big club, remember I think big Steve Foster, was it Robinson who went to Liverpool the cup finals when I was young and a renaissance Jimmy Case. In our house you hated Utd as newcastle fans even then.  Just remember their fans being great, really enjoying the day and they were really unlucky. Also, I hate it when a big club goes to virtually nothing, like when they were playing at athletics track and finally got their ground and come back.   Think it would be a great story for the neutrals and football fans...

....and I can rely on Flushy to sort me out drinks, bes, nights out in Vegas pmsl

Our stewards were in the away end for our league match there this season too.

Aah, Brighton memories. What about Errington Kelly putting one past Perry Digweed in the snow at London Road? Easy save until it hit the groove on the six-yard line and flew over Pezzer Diggers.

Like to see Brighton win tonight, but only coz Palarse doomed us to a couple of Shrewsbury matches next season.

0-0 about fair.

Brighton should have been at least one in front in the first half, but switching Zaha to play v Calderon was a mismatch and Palace were the better team in the 2nd half.

Wayne Bridge different class, how he didn't get MotM I'll never know.

Also thought the ref was excellent.

Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand
"Bridcutt best player on the pitch tonight, disciplined, efficient and tenacity."

Should have wrapped it up first half, good atmosphere tonight

Highlight was Murray lol

Zaha our best player. KG and Jedinak were pretty awful. We were afraid to shoot at times, and some touches in and around the box were annoyingly astray.

They played a very nice style of football, quick and mainly on the deck and we couldn't cope with it for long stretches. We tried to match them in a similar style but they appeared to be fitter and better equipped. We look dejected, and despite some close shaves for us, we are nowhere near as rampant as we were earlier in the season with the same players and I am just concerned as to why. Won't care about that if we get the mini miracle at the Amex and then at Wembley.

The Murray injury looked serious. I am not sure Wilbraham is having as much success in the air with the Brighton backline as I would have hoped and my hype in him may have been unfounded against a defence that is relatively solid. He did persevere all game against Leicester though. I hope it was because he was brought into the game slightly unawares and can do a good job at the Amex.

We will fail miserably if we set out like we did from the start tonight. We need a 4-4-2 and we need the long ball, and we have to turn it as ugly as possible. I think the Murray injury will serve as a blessing in disguise to our chances just as it forces our formation to change to the one i preferred and to what i believe will give us the best chance of success.

We really miss Dobbie too.

Fun night, everyone has summed it up we dominated the first then Palace came back strong in the second.

Seems like getting some mugs to pay £15m for Zaha was an absolute master-stroke, no wonder Fergie has quit.

Seemingly his stock 'moves' that were so effective early season have been worked out by the end of the season in a lot of cases. Easier for him obv against the lesser full backs obv, but he will need another couple of hard working summers to come back stronger and keep varying and upping his game.

I think he has another few levels on him, could be wrong, but if Man U saw something I can't be alone in how much promise I see. And correct that the price tag doesn't justify his current effectiveness, but I think it eventually will!
