Will Pearson get the tin tack?

With the talent in that squad they should have strolled to automatic promotion, not stumbled into the playoff through the back door.

Yes.

That was our chance (and so was last year, and the year before when we had Sven and a much bigger wage bill to be fair). Financial fair play now means squad cutbacks and although Pearson is the right type of manager to have the team in that environment I think they will move on

As wiil Schmeichel and a few others to make the wage bill fit the new regulations

As I say though, well done Watford. Deeney and Vydra a bit too good today.

Cannot understand Knockaert on pens at all (in any circumstance, and especially after the dive). Experienced player has to step up and take the ball there

Ul Rich, two honest teams (with one exception) produced a great footballing advert for the Championship.

The very first Pink Play Off Final is still on!

Wow.

I was watching in Italy on a dodgy internet connection which froze every minute or so.  It froze as Knockaert was stepping up and I was tearing my hair out. When it reconnected Deeney had his shirt off and there was a crowd invasion.

Quite a surreal way to see events.

Unlucky to Leicester after an even 180 mins.  Still fancy Brighton though I think.

Vydra and especially Forestieri would have gone down there as well I imagine, but obviously a soft penalty and would have been a nasty way to lose.

And commiserations to Tighty as well.  Must have been awful to think you are there and then in 20 seconds it was gone Sad

Agree they need to give someone else a chance now over Pearson.

At you didn't make "the fans" the players player of the year.

That really is cringe.

Football is amazing

The Championship is amazing.

Tomorrow though, it will take some miracle for Palace to get through. In my mind we are already out, so will feel comfortable with the loss, anything else is a euphoric bonus.

Yup. If you have read any of my posts this season you know I need no excuse to be optimisitic, but we will have no goalscorers on that pitch tomoz, except from a Phillips cameo late on! We have a dodgy backline aside from Ward on Fridays showing and we are so much slower than we were around xmas. Our middle three played off par and I just dont see it. I think the players will be over-awed by the situation and i think it will be comfortable for Brighton.

Just hope we somehow debilitate Brighton with an early goal. I have given up on getting that 'spark'. Last time we had something towards that was the Leeds home game where we drew 2-2, you might remember that Horneris.

Been a long time since then, and not much promise from us after that match, since.
